Usually I tell about the positive things but this time I can't think of any. It was difficult to have someone actually help you find something other than point and say should be 2 isles down. Then I did ask if the stock guy could we put 16 80lb bags of redimix on a pallet so we could use a fork truck to load in back of my truck and then I could use my loader tractor at home to lift them off. He said he would handle that while I got more stuff. When I returned he put the bags of cement on one of there roll around carts. I told 1 of the guys behind the desk what they were supose to do. He said ya they should have put it on a pallet. So I went through check out and rolled the cart by 5 guys (employees) sitting behind the service counter and rolled it up to my truck I pulled around just outside the door not any of them offered to help. Very poor service . I did tell them that was the worst service I ever got he said thanks for letting us know.

I used to be a Lowes only shopper untill today. After retiring from the State of Florida, I started my own handyman business. Lowes had always treated me right over the past 20 years so I started buying Kobalt tools since they were supposed to have one of the best warranties. I found out that Lowe and Kobalt are two separate companies and the customer support phone number in Kobalt's owner's manual is a call center, not in the US, and according to the person I talked to today, not even a Kobalt employee. When I asked for a Kobalt phone #, he couldn't or wouldn't give it to me. I had called this same number last week to get a return authorization # to return 8, 24v Kobalt batteries. The pro desk at the Capitol Circle NE location advised I would have to call the Kobalt #, since they were the vendor, and the warranty would have to get processed by Kobalt. Kobalt could only find 2 of my batteries and one was bought with a 6 inch chainsaw and I had to return the chainsaw as well as the battery since that is how it was sold. So when I took the two emails to Lowes to exchange the items, I found out Lowes can't do exchanges, they have to return the items and sell you a new one. This sounds great, however, if you purchased the item on sale and the price has went up, you have to pay the difference. So back home I went to have Kobalt send me the Kobalt tools as an exchange. But wait, the phone number you get with your product is not Kobalt. Needless to say, I will not be shopping at Lowes anymore.

Non existent phone service. I spent over an hour on hold listening to someone pickup, hear background speaking only to be placed on hold with no acknowledgment. For a corporation that makes billions it’s sad that your customer service in person and on the phone is so lacking!
