I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Lowe’s.
I purchased three products, and one of them turned out to have been previously returned by another customer. I was not aware of this when I bought it. When I later tried to set up the account for the product, I was told that it needed to be returned to the merchant.
I had proof of purchase and was prepared to provide my receipt. I also made several attempts to reach a live representative for assistance but was unsuccessful. At the same time, I was managing two children and moving, which caused me to go slightly beyond Lowe’s 90-day return period.
The item was purchased only a little over three months ago, and I was asking for an exchange—not trying to receive money improperly. I was willing to have any refund returned to the original payment card.
I understand that stores have policies, but I expected Lowe’s to show some reasonable flexibility given the circumstances, especially since I had proof of purchase and the item appeared to have been previously returned without my knowledge. Unfortunately, John, the manager, did not seem interested in helping. He appeared dismissive and made facial expressions while I explained the situation, which made me feel embarrassed and disregarded.
I left feeling that Lowe’s cared more about enforcing the policy than helping a customer resolve a legitimate problem. I hope corporate management reviews this situation and provides a fair resolution, such as an exchange, return authorization, or store credit.

Is there a zero star. I am going to mark and avoid any company, such as Lowes, for having flock cameras in their parking lot, which allows the government to violate our privacy and track our every movement.

First; the parking lot is much easier and organized than Home Depot on 301. Second, I went in looking for something I really didn't know what, but I spoke with a contractor on hand who asked questions and gave me the exact piece! People are friendly and it's laid out well!

I placed an order on Wednesday 7/22 to be deliver on 7/23 morning, around 847am i received the email that my order was delivered but I was at my house and nothing was there. I checked the cameras and nobody was around. I called customer service and they created a ticket and make me wait 24hrs. The representative asked me questions if my door has plants and i said no, so after the call i noticed that my front neighbor has plants by his door. Nobody called me to follow up on Friday and I have to call them again with no results. I called the store where the order was completed and they transferred my call to fulfillment department where a nice guy I believe his name was James, checked the order and finally agreed that the order was delivered to another house and I should get a new delivery by noon and he updated the ticket. By 12:30pm nobody showed to my house so i ended checking with the neighbor and yes he received the item on Thursday AM, the box doesn’t have a label with my address just my First name Initial and last name, and my neighbor doesn’t know my full name so he called Lowes and was told they will send someone to get it back, but also nobody went there so he hold It I finally got the item today. I never have a problem like this with Home Depot and I can’t believe that Lowe’s did something like that to a good customer. I wasted time calling customer service, the store and also have to bother a neighbor. I would not recommend to place an order from this location as they don’t care about fixing their own mistakes. They uses uber drivers to do these deliveries and they only check their GPS, not even look at their house number. Awful experience. Order placed from Wimauma FL, order # ended in 7065 for a Craftsman brand item.
