I rarely leave negative reviews, but after this experience, I feel obligated to warn others.
I purchased a brand-new computer online from Aaron's at 10230 S US Highway 1 in Port St. Lucie during their July Black Friday event. I spent over $1,500 on what was advertised and sold as a new computer. The website stated it would be available for pickup within 2–3 days.
On the third day, I noticed my online account still did not show that the computer had been delivered to the store. Concerned, I called the location. That call should be recorded.
During the call, the employee specifically told me that he had already tried to contact me to let me know my computer had arrived. He explained that if I wanted delivery, I would receive it the next day, but if I drove to the store, I could take it home that same day. Based on those assurances, I drove more than 30 minutes to the store.
After I arrived, everything changed.
I was informed that my brand-new computer was not there after all. Instead, I was told they had been instructed to give me the floor display model—a computer with no factory box, no original packaging, and no way for me to know how long it had been used or by whom.
At that point, I wasn't given a fair choice. I urgently needed the computer for work, so after investing my time and making the drive based on what I had been told, I was left with two options: leave empty-handed or accept a used display computer while paying the full price of a brand-new one.
That is unacceptable.
What makes this even worse is that I questioned the order status before making the trip because my online account showed the computer had never been received by the store. Instead of being told the truth, I was assured that the computer was there and ready for pickup. Had I been told it wasn't actually available, I never would have driven there.
This experience felt like a bait-and-switch. I purchased a new computer. I was told my new computer had arrived. I drove there because of that representation. Only after I arrived was I told that I would instead be receiving a used display model at the exact same price.
As someone who uses this computer for work and stores sensitive personal and business information on it, I should never have to question whether a public display computer was properly wiped, what software had previously been installed, or how many people had access to it before it was handed to me. Those concerns simply don't exist when you receive the factory-sealed, brand-new computer you paid for.
What disappoints me most isn't just receiving a display model—it's the lack of honesty. I was told one thing over the phone, made a special trip based on that information, and only learned the truth after I arrived. That's not how customers should be treated.
If Aaron's wants customers to pay premium prices, they should deliver what was purchased or, at the very least, be upfront when they cannot. A display model is not a new computer, and charging full price for one after telling a customer their new computer is ready is simply wrong.
I hope corporate reviews the recorded phone call and this store's handling of my order because no customer spending over $1,500 should experience this level of misinformation and poor customer service.
I will not be returning to this location, and I cannot recommend it to anyone looking for an honest and transparent buying experience.

Litterally the worst of the worst. I have multiple orders with Tamarac store. Paid everything off. Tamarac is fantastic! I had to order after I moved to a new house from the Port Saint Lucie store because that became my local store. Let me tell you...... They are horrific compared to Tamarac store. I have tried twice with them. Super rude. Never answer the phone. Hang up on you. Deliver broken shit to your house. Tried again with them and they cant even schedule a delivery date without having to be on the phone waiting for 2 hours. AVOID THIS PORT SAINT LUCIE AARONS STORE AT ALL COST!!!!!! Tamarac store is the only one that's good.
