- JTJ Thornton (TNTPB)1 day ago1.0They post signs all over the store that claim items are on sale, yet they do not clarify that the items on sale are priced and posted on the items with the "yellow tag"! The very few items with the white tag are the price on the tag minus the percentage of the sale. Many stores mark items as on sale items and the price at the register is whatever percent they post taken off the tag price. Well I guess they got smart and make it a little foggy by posting the final sale price on the item and get upset when you ask questions as the posters all over are not clear on that. When I see a 40% off poster on a shelf, I assume that's 40% off the items described and off the sticker on the item. The "yellow tag" does not say sale or discount, so I thought it was a regular tag since most items have that tag on them. Because, that's how most stores do they, I think they figured most customers would think that way and pick their items based on that. Well most of us are committed when we get to the register. The cashier was unfriendly and could not be bothered when I asked a question about the pricing on the sale item. She just yawned multiple times and pointed to the tag. She wouldn't clarify how the yellow tag system worked and refused to even communicate with me beyond saying yes or no. I felt like I was inconveniencing her. The manager finally stepped in and answered my question politely and clearly. This used to be my favorite store, but it is no longer worth it if I have to be treated like I'm imposing on the employees by shopping there or like they are trying to run a scam to make you think you are getting items on sale. I was shocked at the weird system they have for supposed sales.

My boyfriend bought 3 mirrors and the manager (I guess?) chased him outside and accused him of stealing when he literally checked out right next to her. She said she needed to see his receipt (she said they check everyone’s receipts, which they don’t because I’ve shopped here numerous times) and he showed her. Wow. Won’t be shopping here ever again.
