  Very disappointed in the manufacturin of the chair and service. The first recliner had to be replaced due to mechanical issues. So I replaced the first chair and purchased a more expensive (over $2K) and the cotter pin was broken, the chair squeeks as you rock and the fabric crumbles. The service tech has been here 3 times and the chair still squeeks when rocking and fabric crumbling. LZB is treating the issue as if there is nothing else they can do. I have been back and forth with the sales person Katy who told me basically "they just sell the chairs and it would be up to Customer Care. I'm still dealing with Customer Care for these issues. It has been over 5 months trying to get a resolution.

  I am very pleased with our experience with everyone that we worked with at the Portage Lazy Boy store on Romence road. We called them to ask if there was a way for us to work with them to order two power recliners that we could buy for a house in Florida. The sales associate that answered the phone was very friendly and relaxed about helping us through our dilema. She assured us that she would gladly help us defined the chairs, feature and colors and provide us with all the coding details needed to purchase the chairs through a Clearwater or Tampa store. She also let us know that she could perform the transction at the 35% off sale that they were currently running and other members of their staff would arrange the chairs to be delivered to our house in Florida in the Fall to meet our needs. They took something that we feared was going to be complicated and made it extremely easy. What a great place! Tom and Mary Eimer Hickory Corners

  I wanted to share my experience so no one else has to suffer from spending money on items and being totally unsatisfied. Approximately 4 years ago we purchased a recliner, sofa and love seat and paid a lot to have it wrapped in a specific leather. We were told to buy an extended warranty and also told that the quality would last and if it didn’t it would be covered. Don’t be fooled the serveco warranty will only cover accidental and lazyboy will not cover you either past a year so really read the fine print and don’t believe anything you are told. We spent almost $13,000.00 on the furniture but will definitely go to somewhere more reputable than lazyboy. Definitely not quality furniture! Please see photo where headrest leather is totally degraded in less than 5 years. Definitely not normal wear and tear!
