  So I was given Hobby Lobby a chance and stuff usually I can find some unique items there but after today, I’m not going back and I recommend this to everyone not to shop at Hobby lobby they’re very discriminating. I ordered a custom framing job to be done and I was told it should be ready by the 24th or the 25th and call up there. I did in the gentleman that worked in the framing. Carlos was extremely rude about it. He says it’s not done. It should be done on the 26th if I can get to it so when I went up there today to get it, he was supposed to call me and let me know it was ready got no phone calls. So when I went to check out, there was one price on the sticker and then it rang up for almost $15 more and I asked why they said oh that’s taxes and fees and all that that we have to charge and I’m like that’s not what I was told from this I was told that the this is the price and they wanted to get the guy that was being so rude and all he wanted to do is talk about his religion, his family and get personal and I’m not there for that so I asked to speak with a manager Abby, which I think is her name. She’s assistant store manager came up and I started explaining to her what was going on she grabbed the paper from the young lady and then went over to a phone and suppose they call this guy and then when she got off the phone she came back to me and said I was calling him to figure out what was going on and I was like well. I was trying to tell you my side of the story and what happened and all you could do is walk away from me so you know, I said I’ve been trying to tell you what happened it seems like she didn’t care and when I asked her, I said well what can’t you do something about this she goes. Oh well it’s not my job so I asked for a store manager‘s name she refused. I asked for a district manager‘s information she refused so then she opened a book and said his corporate number and I’m like OK so I called corporate the complaint and then what they told me was I asked him what they were gonna do about the problem that she said oh I fired us a former complaint for you. And I said well you know I would like some sort of refund something she goes. Oh, we don’t do that. And then I asked if I could have the district manager get a hold of me and her answer is well I can ask, but they probably won’t do that so that just tells me how corrupt Hobby Lobby is and how they don’t wanna take care of their customers.

  Always come here when I’m looking for stuff for a new project. Antonietta was especially helpful the last time I was there! She helped me find what I needed and stroke up a great conversation in the process. What I needed was out and she took the time to find out when they were getting more and helped set up for me to get notified when they got it. This store was just a go to cause it was close but now it’ll be my go to because of Antonietta and how sweet and helpful she is. Hire more people like her!

  Store is well organized and the workers are very nice. However, the manager was extremely rude and flat out lied to my face. Her facial expression and lack of customer service shocked me. How are you in a position of management acting like a teenager. I told her the black 2x shirts have dust all over them. I wanted to buy two and every single shirt was covered with dust. She tired to lie and say it’s not dust and when I tried to show her she walked away. I will be reporting her. Don’t lie to your customers especially the ones who shop there every other day. I run a business and that was a bad move.

  I visited the Hobby Lobby on Alafaya Trail on July 3 because I needed a custom picture mat cut for multiple photos and a frame, and I needed it completed for the next day. When I arrived, Akshay let me know he was scheduled to leave in about 15 minutes and suggested I come back the next day. After I explained why I needed it so quickly, he didn't hesitate to stay and help me. He carefully cut the custom mat perfectly, assembled everything in the frame I purchased, and made sure it looked beautiful. His willingness to stay after his shift and go out of his way to help was a blessing and it meant so much to me. Genuine customer service like that is rare these days, and his kindness and professionalism made a lasting impression. It was truly one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time. Thank you, Akshay, for going above and beyond. Hobby Lobby is lucky to have you!

  Wonderful selection but a very special shout out to Leslie who assisted my boyfriend and I in fabric. Wonderful customer service. Provides the customer service experience that company’s should give Very personable and kind we enjoyed our chat and hope she gets the recognition she deserves We also noticed her being exceptionally friendly with other customers even the kiddos. Another shout out to Natalia very sweet and speedy on the register.
