I purchased a brand new LG dishwasher from this North Port Lowe's in March 2026. It is already failing, leaving a heavy, cloudy film on all dishes due to an internal rinse or drain defect. When I went back to the store for help, the inside staff was completely useless. They simply shrugged, handed me a phone number, and told me to call LG my self. LG's customer service has been just as terrible. Instead of honoring the warranty, they are giving me the runaround-sending defensive checklists blaming my home plumbing and water, explicitly trying to scare me with out-of-pocket charges. My plumbing and soft water are fully with in standards: the machine is defective. Poor communication and zero customer care from both Lowe's and LG on a brand new appliance. Buyers beware once they have your money, you are entirely on your own

We have NEVER had a bad experience at Lowe’s until today (May 3rd around 12 -1 PM). Which breaks my heart to make this review as we usually have extremely friendly encounters with the employees , specially in the garden department.
Unfortunately today , I went into the kitchen department after seeing a beautiful range hood display that inspired me to ask for info since we’re in the early stages of planning our kitchen remodel, I simply asked for a general starting price and how the customization process works.
From the start, the associate was clearly unwilling to help. She repeatedly said her computer wasn’t working and gave the impression she was hoping I would just walk away. I’m not sure if she was annoyed I had my kids with me ?! …
When I asked basic questions about customization like adding molding or design elements her answers were “ if we carry it we can ?!” vague, dismissive, and offered no real explanation of the process.
When she finally gave a rough estimate (around $3K+), I tried to show her an inspiration photo to better show realistic what I was looking for; She responded with, “I don’t really need to see it you don’t have measurements,” I insisted on showing it to her as I wanted a more accurate price range and once she saw it she abruptly added that it could be another $2K+ in a blunt, almost scolding tone which I didn’t understand why she was being so rude since I wasn’t being unpleasant at all .
She also emphasized multiple times that they don’t install the vent portion of the hood and that we would need to hire someone separately, making it an additional cost. While that’s helpful information, the way it was communicated felt more like she was trying to discourage us or focus on cost despite the fact that I never expressed any concern about budget.
The most unprofessional moment was when she asked, “Is that even in your budget?” while looking me up and down which she was doing quiet often. That was completely inappropriate. I responded that money was not an issue and chose to walk away at that point.
What’s even more concerning is that I told my husband how frustrated I was at what just happened and he knew exactly who I was talking about as my husband had a separate interaction with the same associate earlier, asking about cabinets, and experienced the exact same rude and dismissive behavior and simply just bad will to help . He also walked away.
This wasn’t a misunderstanding, this was a consistent pattern of unprofessional service from someone working in a department where customers are making major purchases and need guidance.
We came in excited to start a kitchen project and left frustrated and completely turned off from working with that department.

Hello readers. Today upon my arrival at this lowe's, at self-checkout the employee Tom J. Was very rude and ignorant to me. One was an open tree saw blade that was an open package and the tip of it was bent I asked if I can get a discount because it was an open item and the tip of it was bent. His exact words was what makes you special why should I give you a discount, I would just send it back to the vendor. Every other Lowe's I went to if it was a damaged item you get a discount all material or tools. This gentleman needs to to have customer service classes, also learn how to address customers. Rule of thumb he should have called his manager. And let them make a decision if he was not able to. The gentleman should be on stocking shelves and there was another gentleman with him also as soon as I walked away he was talking behind my back. I am also a rewards member and I spend a lot of money at Lowe's..more than home Depot.

As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
