  I hardly ever do reviews but I have to share my experience. I have an autistic 11 year old son and he wanted the butter squishy. We got to this store Saturday at about 11:30 am. We asked if they had squishies and the lady said we are unboxing now. GREAT! My son said can we wait. Of course because I have a job that doesn’t allow me to be there when certain stores are opening and wait in line. I told the associate we would wait around. We looked around the store for about a hour and bumped into the same associate and she said “you are still here” I said yes ma’am he is willing to wait. Another hour goes by and I hear her talking to other associates stating “ I could bring the other ones out but I am just not” she also said something about us stalking the isle. For anyone that has a child especially an autistic ones knows they are super excited and autistic children when they have their mind set on something it is set. It was so hurtful to hear this associate Katie was willing to stock every isle in the toy isle except this one to make him wait. I am so proud of my son because he cannot wait 2 hours for anything. We didn’t bother anyone or complain. We walked around this store for over 2 hours checking back in the isle every now and then to see if they were stocked. After hearing her talk about us to other associates I told her I know it’s annoying but these are kids getting out of the house, off electronic, and doing a treasure hunt. Something fun. Also at this time where everyone is ordering online it’s also helping the economy and keeping stores from closing so to keep items away from a child on purpose is totally wrong. Keep in mind it is not about the squishy but hearing her flat out say I could bring the item out but I’m just not is cruel. I never complain but I did tell a manager and I said we are going to leave now because hearing my son ask me “why would someone do that to a kid” was heartbreaking and obviously we were not wanted in their store. Not a good experience and I will not be back. Very sad to hear people talk about consumers in this way

  Never in my life would I think I'd have to write a review about Hobby Lobby, of all places in this manner. Yesterday, my nephew and I went in for all things crafts as I strive to get these kids off of screens! I enjoy my new hobby of scrapbooking, but I am new so it requires many many trips. Nonetheless, after referring to many Pinterest ideas, I find what we're looking for. We check out and on our way with our new goodies. Not before I'm stopped by the most egregious employee, who then finds it appropriate to LOUDLY ask if I was a nanny. I have never been so embarrassed or humiliated in my life. Behind teary eyes, I respond "No, why would you ask?". I assume my question made her realize it was beyond inappropriate to ever inquire anything like that. So, after about 45 seconds of her suggesting who or how my nephew may be related to me. I turned and walked out. I sat in the car with my nephew and had a very difficult conversation about what just happened, but how do you explain to an 8 year old that just because we look different ignorant ADULTS make unnecessary comments. In 2026, with the power of the internet, normalized adoption, and a multitude of other possibilities I was chastised by an employee of a Christian based company. My nephew and I don't share the same physical features, but that should never invite public questioning or speculation from a stranger. Families come in all forms, and no customer should be put in the position of defending or explaining their family to an employee in the middle of a store. I can only assume that in her many nights of solitude and loneliness she remains ignorant. I hope this is a learning lesson for her and I hope she's reprimanded. She does not represent the values of Hobby Lobby, Christianity, let alone a good human being.

  They have just about anything you're looking for I spend a lot of time and a lot of money there but I'm very pleased with them

  Horribly rude!!! I walked in 5 mins till closing. Managers stopped me at the door. "Can I help you"? Can I walk in, umm you have 2 minutes. Ok so can I go? Yeah I guess! Im roaming around looking quickly for the Native American canvas. I stop and asked an associate for some help, so I could move quckly. She sucks teeth and says over by the "cowboy" stuff, I said Native Americans canvas please. She sucks her teeth again, rolled eyes and says we dont have that here. I informed that I purchased my last 2 at my local HB. She sucked her teeth again and said we'll ive never seen it here and rolled her eyes. I left, wont be back to this location. NOT a very good representation of what this store "stands for" or is?
