I have used the Seminole Extra Space without issue for quite a while now, but the time had come to move my unit closer to my art studio.
A very personable customer support agent in Charleston, SC assisted me to get my unit lease up and going. I spoke with Seminole, and they were great helping me understand my move out date, but also pro-rate options should I need a, bit longer to vacate.
So, I am now with a Largo location. I just met Lisa yesterday and she is a fantastic human to work with. The office is pristine and organized and easy to navigate whatevr you might need to find. While the main goal was to be closer to my studio, I am so happy to be using this location with such great staff!
This company has been so easy to work with from Day 1. That's saying a LOT these days in which automated everything and AI assistants are the new "normal*.

I love doing business with Extra Space storage. Everything about their processes just seems effortless.
Lisa made it easy to get setup in a new unit. She walked me to the unit, showed me which entrance to use and where my unit was, and had the "paperwork" (it's actually all electronic) done in minutes.
I used the app for digital access to the gate and the entry door and I have to admit, it was pretty slick. It even knows which gate or door you're in range of.
Anyway, great experience and a very conveniently located property. Thanks!

Definitely read the fine print! After about three months guaranteed they are going to triple your rate without notifying you. Also the one month free is bullshit. They charged me all the money upfront online and never gave me a free month with either of my units. Definitely don’t do auto pay either because if you are busy everyday like I am you wont notice the extra charges until it starts adding up. They were able to steal $4000 from me and I was only renting two 10x15 inside units! Not worth it! I’ll never rent from them again!
