I was a renter for over 2 years and they kept raising my rates almost as if they were purposely trying to get me to move out. It wasn't just little price hikes. They were quite substantial. It happened several times. I always had to go into the office and negotiate a better price. DO NOT USE AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS BECAUSE OF THIS. They will automatically charge you the higher rate without you even knowing.
I have recently started renting from them again and a few things have changed drastically.
First is the INCREDIBLY AWEFUL app to enter and exit. You are better off getting out of your vehicle and typing in the long pin code to exit the premises. You'll see why if you rent here.
Second, it seems as though they are phasing out customer service. They are pushing for everything being self service. They actually charge more per month if you want a "dedicated phone line" to be able to talk to someone.
I was told when I checked out on the website that if you don't use the lock they automatically charge you for, that I could receive a refund at the front desk. But when I went in for a refund I was told they will just credit my account on the next months rent. This is not a "refund". This is a "credit". I had my old lock from my previous stay here. I didn't need to be charged for another.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out when they start jacking up my rent again without notice.

Good clean storage facility, very good lighting to see if you have to go in after dark. Manager Franky is very helpful we needed a different size unit he took us showed us a few units and made transferring units very quick simple and easy!

Friday morning we drove from Orlando to Tampa and arrived at our storage unit early afternoon to clear and close it out. We tried our keys on the lock and none worked. We realized we didn't have the key to our lock, so we walked up to the front desk/office where Franky greeted us warmly. He offered us cold water and explained where the bathrooms were. We shared that we forgot our key in Orlando and were here with our uhaul to clear and close it out. He told us he could cut the lock after we signed a lock cutting agreement. He came to our unit and sawed off the lock. He left and returned with a leaf blower so we could blow off our items since the unit next to ours was doing something in their unit that caused a layer of dust to cover our items that were against the shared wall. He mentioned to take pictures and report anything that was damaged would be covered by insurance. We returned to the office two times during our loading to fill our water jug. After finishing loading up our uhaul we went back in to sign off closing out the unit. We thanked Franky for his kindness, and expressed he was the most pleasant storage unit employee we've come across. Thank you again Franky Tirado for your kindness, understanding, and generosity during our visit.
