I bought an $800 washing machine from Lowe's and declined the $50 haul-away service because my old washer still worked and I planned to sell it.
When the delivery crew finished installing the new washer, they asked again if I wanted the old one removed. I clearly said no, explaining that it worked and I intended to sell it. One of the men then offered to move it to the bottom of my stairs to help me. I thanked him and went inside to tend to my baby. Less than five minutes later, they drove away with my washer without my permission.
I spent over two months calling Lowe's, being transferred from department to department, leaving messages that were never returned, and waiting for updates that never came. Their investigation identified the delivery crew, but I was never told of any action taken, my washer was never returned, and management never contacted me despite repeated promises that they would.
The loss of my washer was frustrating, but the lack of accountability and customer service was even worse. After this experience, Lowe's has lost my business.

Was in garden center checking out with multiple others, in line witnessed the cashier being rude to not only me but another gentleman ourchasjng probably 10 large items. He had some item that needed a sku number checked because her system wasn’t correct instead of apologizing and offering her help she claimed “it wasn’t her job” to check for the sku to help him check out and leave on Father’s Day. When he offered to check himself she said “yeah you can do whatever you want” I was shocked over never witnessed someone speak to a customer as if they were an inconvenience like this. When it was my turn for the small amount I had she didn’t even say hello or asked anything about me beyond checking me out and making my entire process uneasy and uncomfortable when I tried to say thank you and have a good day to her she didn’t even bother responding. If this is the people you hire to front face customers and check them out you should rethink the entire hiring process this company has.
