  We bought a new mattress and base here in March. We went to this store because we wanted a more organic mattress and because we prefer to give our money to local businesses if we can. We ended up ordering a medium firm King Koil mattress with an adjustable base, after at least an hour trying different ones in the store. It took several weeks to get the mattress and base delivered. The first issue is that we were told the adjustable base would work with our platform bed by simply removing the feet. It didn’t. The mattress with the base was about 5 feet off the floor when the delivery men set it up and left it. I would’ve needed a step ladder to get into bed every night! My husband had to disassemble our bed and reassemble it without the platform in order to get it to work. The first few nights we slept on the bed I felt like something was wrong. My husband and I both slept TERRIBLE. The mattress actually sags when you lay on it. We kept thinking we just needed to adjust to a new bed. I have an autoimmune disease as well as fibromyalgia, so decent sleep is important to keep me out of pain. As the weeks went on, it just became worse. This was supposed to be a medium firm mattress and it had no support at all. We called the store to see what could be done. The store has a sign posted that they will make it right if you aren’t happy with your purchase within a year. What they don’t tell you is that they will charge you to make it right, $1500 to be exact. The store owner helped us that night and advised me not to even lay on a plush mattress , yet a plush mattress is what he ordered for us. Now that we are asking him to honor his one year guarantee, he’s trying to tell us that the mattresses he now has in store aren’t the same ones that he had before and that the mattress we received was still a firmer, but plush mattress. I live in chronic pain and I know what I ordered, but it wasn’t what I received. When asking him to make it right, he told us that he wasn’t going to be bullied by us. So we spent $3000 and now don’t even have a decent bed to sleep on. The owner isn’t pushy when you come in to look, which is the one positive we can say. But he will not stand behind what he sells you. BEWARE of buying from this store! UPDATE PER OWNER’S RESPONSE: the original purchase was never reviewed with us. The paperwork was folded and placed in an envelope and handed to us. That paperwork consisted of a printed sales receipt (such as you get at any store) and a piece of paper telling us we should give the new mattress 12 weeks as a test to see if we liked it. The owner’s business card was also there. That’s it. No proof of what we asked for or ordered. From reading a few of the other negative reviews here, it seems that his one year “guarantee” is never honored. And we also had the same experience of him being kind while he sold us something and the exact opposite when there was an issue. Despite his claims in this response, the owner was not at all kind when we spoke on the phone. Yes, read ALL of the reviews, so you will know what you’re potentially walking into.

  Tara was wonderful to work with. When we didn’t love our first mattress, she helped us find another mattress and worked with us on our return. She was so accommodating and helpful that my parents have promised to return to her business when they’re furnishing their new house in a few months. I would highly recommend this business for their service and great selection of mattresses.

  I'm really happy with this mattress store. Rodney was such a good guy to work with. He was there for all of our questions but also let us have plenty of space to try out the beds without pressure or awkward staring. He did a really good job of guiding us through the mattress options to find the one that is the best for us. We were never rushed or pressured. It was a fantastic experience. I can't wait to get our bed delivered. Thank you!

  Jacksonville Bedding, only store with Winkbeds within 100 mile radius of Jacksonville, at the time of this post. They beat the online price that I had with 2 combined coupon codes. Went to 2 other stores. But Jacksonville bedding had helix bunch of models and winkbeds.
