Yeah, I can't believe that a company allows their sales people to come and knock on people's door on a holiday weekend at 10:00 p.m. and then sit there in my yard and try to harass my company for a good 30 minutes not giving up when I told them to get off of my property and I told them I did not want their service. I was not falling for it like I did last year and they wanted to keep asking me questions. When I tell somebody to get off of my property I expect them to do it not to ignore me and continue to sit in my yard for over a half an hour. With some young blonde girl and some young brown hair boy, but I can't believe 10:00 p.m. at night on a holiday weekend. They're trying to sell me pest control. That is beyond ridiculous. Something should be done about those people and I hope to God that you do not run your business that way

Service at the home was decent I believe? They had detailed reports and were very courteous. Allston (our door to door sales representative) was seemingly professional to begin with but when it came time to cancel he misled us into believing our account was closed and would be charged our early cancellation fee. I received our regular monthly charge 2 days after we spoke about cancellation to which I reached out to Allston with no reply. I then a couple weeks later received an automated email stating our service was scheduled for the next month. I finally called the office to get a 24 minute phone call to (I believe) cancel our service. This may be the business model but it’s a little obscene to be told yes I can get this cancelled for you and then not do it.

Joe came out and took out all the nests of a wasp infestation I had going on and he did it in the middle of a rain storm! True HERO! The work was fast and he sent pictures of the completed work when finished. Exceptional work and cannot recommend this service more - 10/10! Very pleased!

Door to door salesman said I could call and add termite bond. When I called today I was told they don't do termite control in Jacksonville area. I spoke with a supervisor on the phone to cancel my service for being lied to. He told me no problem and noted my account and transferred me to another person to do the cancellation. This person told me he couldn't cancel due to it being past the cancellation period and I'd owe $180. I then told him to transfer me to his boss and he said he's the supervisor. I told him I need someone above him and of course that person isn't in right now. I told him to copy me in email where he requested his boss to call me. I have waited 45 minutes for that email. So here I am doing whatever it takes to get someone with some authority to call me back. I'm not paying a company that is out here telling people they can do a service that isn't even offered in this area. I was lied to and the is a deal breaker. I would not trust this company at all! Do not believe the hype they are bringing to the table. They can not back it up. I want my service cancelled ASAP please!

Tim, the gentleman who did the service this morning, was amazing. He was so nice and well informed and patient with all of my questions. All of the 5 stars go directly to him!! This negative review has nothing to do with him and he deserves a raise. Bless his heart.
Other than that, I would give 0/5⭐️. The sales person, Tyler, was extremely persistent with making his sale, even though I said I didn’t really care too much about taking care of the wasps nests & ant hills around my house. However, he made the process sound very simple and risk-free, and because of my reluctance to want to hire this company, he offered to pay for my first service and sent me the money for it as proof of good faith. I was feeling optimistic because, in truth, I have been looking for a pest control company, but it’s a quite expensive service. Everything seemed to go smoothly. He seemed reassuring and with going as far to pay for my first service, thinking I really had nothing to lose, I decided to give it a chance. Then, this morning, Tim arrived and before he could get started, there was more paperwork I needed to sign. And this was where things got scammy, to me. I was being asked to sign documents that confirmed I had agreed to a 12 month contract, with a mandatory monthly fee, and if I canceled before the contract ran its course, I would be charged $199. It was also asking me to sign to confirm that this had all been verbally explained to me upon my first visit. Tyler did not explain any of this. He said I could cancel whenever I wanted, and that it was a easy process and if I didn’t need the service one month, it’s easy to skip. He never mentioned a 12 month contract, or the mandatory payments, or the huge cancellation fee and other hidden fees. When I reached out to him this morning upon seeing these new documents, he brushed off my concerns and made it seem like the cancellation fee isn’t something to worry about as long as I don’t cancel. Luckily, I was able to call Aptive this morning, since I have 3 days legally to cancel this subscription, and even though I was on hold for 30 minutes, I was eventually connected to someone who canceled my membership and I’ve been assured I will not be charged further. So we will see about that. Also, Tyler then proceeded to text me and ask for his money back that he willingly gave me.
As I originally said, 5 stars to Tim, the service worker. He was very kind and explained more to me about the actual details of this agreement, than the sales manager did. He was quick and efficient and professional. 0 stars to Aptives salespeople for their aggressive sales approach, hidden fees, and lack of professionalism via text. I do not recommend this company one bit, and this is certainly why you never actually take the time of day to listen to sales people and their pitches because they don’t care about you as a person, just the dollar sign.

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
