  When you visit this store, you are both literally and philosophically On An Island. Several reviews for this store and all are the same. I absolutely HATE this store. It is a last resort for me, I always go to Ace Hardware in South Patrick first, and will only go to this Lowe’s if Ace doesn’t have what I need. Today was one of those days. I needed help. A bunch of old men and women working there stocking shelves (and avoiding customers as is normal for this store.) Not a soul working the single cashier’s station with only self checkouts. Asked for help a few times, heard the call over the store intercom, nobody showed up. After two pages and a total of 15 minutes (I counted). So, standing in the electrical aisle where I told the grumpy guy 2 aisles over that I’d be waiting for the electrical department guy, I called the store. I was going to ask them to send someone to the electrical aisle to help. They didn’t work either, as their automated system wouldn’t get me through to a live person. I walked to the end of the aisle only to find the guy who works the electrical department chatting with a female colleague I have not found a single person in this store who actually wants to help people. As soon as they see someone who looks like they have a question, they run and hide. It’s really a sad store. Nothing has changed. I’ve always said that they need to fire the store manager, and start from scratch. Figure out what should make people want to return and actually leave positive reviews. You haven’t done anything close to they in the past 4 years. My visits have become more and more limited, and again, the last resort if Ace Hardware doesn’t have what I need, which is rare. It happens, but rarely. I literally hate this store.

  I was looking for particular items and a young man helped me to find the best items for my needs. However when I went to check out, I was surprised that all the available checkouts were self-service. While I am capable of using the self-service lanes, I prefer going to a staffed cash register. When I expressed my preference to the Lowes employee who was watching over the bank of self-service registers, she said "there's a register in the garden center...to which I replied thank you. She then went on to repeatedly say that she was invisible. I walked away and was satisfied with my purchase and great customer service supplied by the polite cashier in the garden center. If I go back to this location, I will be sure to check out in the garden center. I understand that it's more profitable for Lowes to use self-service checkouts. However since I don't work for Lowes, I expect to be treated like a valued customer. 4 stars for the nice people I encountered at Lowes...minus 1 star for self-service registers and unnecessary staff performance at the self-service area.

  They have people that don't know what they're doing in the paint department some kid they have working in there told me to relax when he screwed something up, and basically the lady manager defended him, she didn't even know how to properly load the paint into the shaker and she acted like I was the problem. Managers in that store are the worst there's some good people that work there but a lot of Associates are just terrible and and unhelpful! The kid wasn't trained well and thats on management. They put untrained people out there and are indifferent to the customers who will suffer for it.. Don't waste your time there go to Home Depot they treat their customers a lot better

  My wife and I went here to purchase a new lawnmower and was greeted by an associate named Kevin - fantastic gentleman by the way!. After talking with him, we decided to get approved for the lowes credit card to save some money. After the whole process with Kevin, He walked us up to the service desk where Dawn - another fantastic lady, then helped us checkout. For some reason or another, Dawn could not get the temporary card to work. She then had to call the synchrony company for us and had to explain the whole situation. Turns out, it ended up being on lowes asset protection end. She then had to talk to them to figure out what was going on. After an hour of trying to fix this problem. Kevin and Dawn were able to get management involved to get my wife and I on our merry way. We left satisfied and stress free. Kevin and Dawn were exceptional and we have never been more impressed with customer service before until being serviced by those two. They need some recognition and a raise for sure!! I will always go back to this lowes just to be taken care of by them. Kevin and Dawn turned an upside down experience into a satisfactory transaction leaving the store with smiles on our faces. Kevin and Dawn you guys were awesome Im glad we ran into you today when purchasing our lawnmower!!
