The crew arrived earlier than scheduled which was a plus. Very polite and engaging throughout the process. It was a tear out and install of new sod (6 pallets which is small). They brought all concerns immediately to my attention. I say all of this to say this. Hard workers and keep you in the loop. And…….. they grow their grass and cut the day of delivery to your site. All in all very professional.

This morning, September 10, 2026, in coordination with Sod Lot on 103rd Street, a 7 member team came from Tater Farms to my home to do a sod project. They prepared the areas with a sod cutting machine, removed the old sod, raked and leveled the area for laying down 895 square footage new sod. The Team was polite, organized and worked together. Before starting work, the Team Leader walked with me over the work areas going over the instructions and pictures given to him by Nate Budd of Sod Lot. The sod was fresh, thick, no raggedy edges. Before leaving, I was shown a video that showed the gate to my back yard was not blocked. In addition, the sprinkler system was activated to make sure none of the sprinkler heads were blocked. I am very pleased with the work they did. Thank you, Jay Etheridge

These guys did an amazing job with my sod installation. The sod was in excellent condition. They did everything I asked him to do. Left my house clean so I'm very happy with the install. And Joseph was the lead employee on the crew. It was an excellent communicator but all three other guys were thoughtful and caring and did a great job

From quoting to delivery to install, everyone was extremely polite and great to work with! We had some unexpected schedule delays but Manny helped us through them with ease. The delivery driver was very kind and the install team was quick and did a great job. We were nervous to switch from St Augustine to Icon Zoysia, but couldn’t be happier! Great quality, beautiful sod. Highly recommend the team at Tater Farms! We will definitely be using them again!

Brandon was a great delivery person. He was creative with getting the pallet of sod through my fence gate so I could still close it. The quality of sod this time around was not so great as I’ve had from these guys before. Some of the pieces (probably one third) were so thin there was no dirt, just exposed roots. While others were normal. Plus the sod was so dry as it wasn’t delivered until after 2PM.
