  Although I didn’t use their service, I can say that they are honest and very thorough. If you can’t do it yourself, they would be a great place to start.

  Hurd Brothers did a great job for us! Their crew worked hard in the heat and rain, was careful around our property, and cleaned up as they went. No piles of debris left behind for an indeterminate future pickup date. Their prices were reasonable, and they had plenty of equipment and workers on site to get the job done efficiently. Erin Hurd was great to work with and handled the permitting process with the city. I was concerned about wildlife, and they took the time to check nests for possible residents. They are very serious about protecting animals, and I really appreciate that. I made the mistake of using another company once, but they ripped up our yard, forgot to cut several branches, and left debris on my lawn for 2 weeks. Never again. It will be Hurd Brothers from now on!

  Bought a .5 acre parcel with years of unmaintained growth, incl. “oakzilla” (neighbor’s nickname). I noted multiple areas of concern on oakzilla. Consulted w/5 arborists. Four of them insisted there was nothing wrong, and “no way city will let you cut it down”. Erin Hurd was the only one who listened to my concerns and presented a reasonable solution - we’ll start at the top, and see what we find as we trim branches. Good thing! Oakzilla was rotten down to the ground, and was definitely a hazard. He communicated with the City during the entire process, and assured permitting was in place. They also removed numerous invasive species, trimmed palms, removed overgrowth. Team of 4-5 guys was here for ver 2 weeks, and they were a pleasure to work with. Had him back to plant a new tree as well. Nothing but positive experiences. Erin is a nice guy who grew up in the area and knows both his specialty profession, and the area and folks who work his. His opinion is trusted for a reason!

  Hurd Brothers responded immediately to our storm damage. After seeing pics of the large oak that fell on house, Hurd dispatched a team, and saved the day.Thank you!

  The team sent to our facility were: 1. On Time. 2. Extremely Professional. 3. Ensured they were aware of additional safety precautions due to our Blind clients. 4.
