They create unnecessary difficulties and ask for excessive information and documents that none of the major competitors even require. The whole process is much more complicated than it should be. The employee who assisted me was very polite and helpful, so this review is not about the staff. Unfortunately, the company policies and overall customer experience are extremely frustrating. There are many better storage companies out there that make the process simple and professional. I would not recommend doing business with this company.

Both times Amanda has been so kind, and has gone out of her way to be helpful and informative. Today we explained our situation of needing to access our unit via a very large moving van, and she helped us find a unit that will be easily accessible and fit our needs perfectly. Great customer service is quickly becoming a lost art. Amanda is excellent at customer service and represents Extra Space Storage very well. We're very grateful for her help and expertise!
