We had very good experience with extra space storage this location. Both the time when we went to drop our kids stuff as well as when we picked it up Tavis helped us.
He made the process super easy for us by explaining us everything that we needed to know.

My Unit came already cleaned and exactly as spacious as I imagined, which made moving my stuff in for the summer very easy. Tavis was also kind enough to lend me a hand as I was moving back into my dorm in the fall. As a female student moving on my own, I’m really grateful for Extra Space for making the transition that much easier.

I had a ceiling leak in my unit. It was ruining my items. They took quite a few weeks to fix the leak. I asked for a month of free rent so i could pay movers to move my heavy items. The regional manager refused my request. She suggested my items would just continue to be leaked on or I could pay movers at my own expense. Ive seen flooding and leaks in other units also. It’s an old converted warehouse with an old roof. I would avoid this place

This has been my best experience at a storage unit in Gainesville, and I have used three different companies (having had some very bad experiences). The facility is incredibly clean and temperature controlled. The property is well-lit and feels very safe. The process was also very clear and smooth for reserving a unit and getting set up. Mark is very kind and personable! I would feel 100% comfortable keeping my belongings here in the future and would recommend it wholeheartedly! Thank you!

Renter BEWARE!!!
I had a unit- temp controller for 2 months. On Sunday I went to it and found a dead rat inside. The office was closed so we had to remove it our selves. Then 5 days later we are notified our unit rate is increasing by $68. They claim it’s because market rates increased—-but we’ve already called 3 other facilities in town who have proof their rates have not increased. We will be taking our business elsewhere.
