  Good luck, IF YOU HAVE TO CALL THIS PLACE... AI...ANSWERS YOUR CALL. IT ASKED ME FOR MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER.. WOULD NOT LET ME SPEAK TO A REAL PERSON. SO I CALLED THE STORE NUMBER..GOT A VIRTUAL ASSISTANT ...FINALLY GOT TRANSFERED TO A REAL PERSON......GET THIS, I COULDNT UNDERSTAND A WORD HE WAS SAYING. NOW IS THAT MY FAULT? I EVEN ASKED FOR A DIFFERENT SOMEBODY TO TALK TO.. HE WOULDNT DO THAT. THIS IS AMERICA, AND I DO HAVE MY RIGHTS AS A CARD HOLDING CUSTOMER, OR MAYBE I DONT. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY, AND GOD IS GOOD, AND YOU CANT TAKE HIM FROM ME..

  I placed an order for fence panels and a few smaller items that was originally scheduled for delivery on 5/19. I first received an email saying the delivery had been moved to 5/26, then another an hour later stating the items would still arrive on 5/19. On delivery day, only a paint brush and a can of stain were delivered. The bulk of the order was not, and while one email briefly indicated this, subsequent updates made it appear that the entire order was still on the way. Because I needed the materials that day, I had to cancel the remainder of the order and make other arrangements. Lowe's refused a full or partial refund of the delivery fee, leaving me paying $79 to have a brush and a can of stain delivered. I was later told by customer service that the delivery fee would be refunded, but it never happened. After five calls to customer service and three additional calls specifically about the refund, 14 business days later the issue still has not been resolved. To make matters worse, Lowe's publicly responded to my review with a generic canned message addressed to the wrong name and directed me to call the same customer service number I had already contacted multiple times. That response perfectly summarized the entire experience: confusing communication, conflicting information, and no accountability. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a company fixes them. Unfortunately, Lowe's had multiple opportunities to make this right and chose not to. I'll be returning to Home Depot for future projects and cannot recommend Lowe's delivery service based on this experience.

  I’ve seldom had a bad experience at this store. Today was honestly no different, with one exception. I paid for several bags of dirt. I asked two young guys where I could pick them up, as I did not take them to the register to ring up because I had over 10 bags. They told me “You can get them out in the parking lot on the pallet drops. Now, I asked them because I just watched them take several bags of dirt out for someone else. I also knew that these particular bags were not in the parking lot on pallets, and lastly, I don’t know what the heck a “pallet drop” is, however I assumed they were talking about the pallets with bags of items on them in the parking lot. If I was a lesser person, I could’ve gone out there and thrown anything I wanted into my truck, however, I absolutely am not that kind of individual. I eventually drove to the front of the store and saw some bags out front and got out and loaded them with the help of a different individual who walked up and asked to see my receipt and kindly helped me load them. I don’t know who these two young men were, but they may to be trained a little more on customer service in the work environment.

  We’ve shopped at Lowe’s for years, and Laurie provided the best experience we’ve ever had at the Pro Desk. She stepped in professionally when another employee was unable to properly assist us and made the entire process quick, easy, and stress-free. Laurie also helped apply our Pro discount to a previous purchase without any hassle, which encouraged us to place even larger orders. She acknowledged that some Saturday Pro Desk employees were not fully aware of how the system works, which affected one of our previous purchases, and we hope Lowe’s takes steps to properly train employees so future customers do not run into the same issue. We usually dread going to the Pro Desk because it normally takes hours, but Laurie handled everything in minutes. Because of her, we actually want to continue shopping at this location. Lowe’s needs more employees like her.

  The two veterans at the Fernandina Beach store, Matt and Joe did an exceptional job at recommending products. An electrical adapter caught fire in my dad's home and they explained how to wire the new adapter, cut new cable at the correct gauge and length, and ensured the rating for cable matched what I needed. They explained safety precautions to consider when doing it myself as well as providing alternative options in case I needed further assistance. I would give 1,000 star rating if I could. Their advice worked and I have power again! Thank you guys for your service! I wouldn't have been able to do it without you.
