I had placed an online- pick up in store order for a sliding glass door on May 14. It came almost 2 weeks late with very little notice and communication. When I finally picked up the sliding door, it was missing the screen door portion. I had called the store/ customer service to request a part replacement. Supposedly it was placed, I had called for an update but they were unable to track it. And till this day, never received the missing part. I had also inquired about some sort of discount or gift card compensation for all the delays etc. they said they would send a $30 gift card. Mind you the door itself cost $1,500+ and was missing a main component.
I never even received that gift card in my email or mail and have followed up with customer service about it multiple times. Very upset with Lowe’s since then. I try not to make big orders with them anymore.

First time visiting Lowe's, and honestly, it was a mixed bag. We’ve always been Home Depot loyalists, but decided to give Lowe's a shot today. On the bright side, the product selection is fantastic! They have a great range of inventory, and there’s plenty to choose from. However, the biggest downer was the complete lack of floor staff. Finding someone to ask a quick question was practically impossible. We spent about 15 minutes walking around the entire store looking for an associate, but couldn't spot a single person. Then comes the kicker: we finally headed to the registers, and turns out that’s where everyone was hanging out. There was a crowd of 6 or 7 employees gathered around just one register talking. It’s such a strange approach to customer service. With a competitor like Home Depot right across the board, not firing on all cylinders like this just feels like a missed opportunity. Great selection, but management really needs to step up floor support—it honestly just feels like the staff lacks motivation.
