Left the store very upset. I asked someone to assist me in finding an item. She couldn't figure out what I was asking her so I explained again. She then looked for the item on her keypad and was interrupted by another customer. She simply left and had to tend to the other customer. Then I tried looking for someone else to ask for a comparison and waited while someone asked questions after questions. Maybe I'm tired, but it really mad me cranky. Maybe I need a snickers bar. Either way, I just was dumbfounded with a simple question not being answered. I had already had the item, simply needed a color match.Yes, it does take time and yes there's other people. Just felt frustrated.

Delivery Refused Over an 8-Inch Platform, Forced to Pay Cash Out-of-Pocket, Compensated Only in Store Credit.
On September 20th, I purchased an LG washer and dryer set at the Lowe’s serving Casselberry / Fern Park, FL. I paid $1,814 via credit card, which included delivery, a haul-away pickup fee, and all required add-ons like the new electric cord and waterlines.
When Lowe’s contracted delivery team arrived, they outright refused to haul away my old set or install the new units because my laundry setup sits on an 8-inch platform. Instead of completing the job I paid for, they left the new washer and dryer sitting outside on my back patio and drove off.
This created an immediate scramble. I had to hire a local handyman on short notice to complete the entire job. He removed the old units, placed the new ones on the 8-inch platform with zero issues, connected the new cord, waterlines, and dryer vent, and had everything running smoothly. This cost me $150 in cash out-of-pocket.
After driving directly to the store manager and enduring a runaround through multiple corporate phone calls, Lowe’s finally acknowledged the failure. They agreed to reimburse my $150 out-of-pocket handyman expense and offered a 10% discount off the total purchase to make things right.
Here is the kicker: They refused to refund my original payment method or write a check. They insisted on issuing the entire $305.80 reimbursement and compensation strictly as a Lowe’s Store Credit.
When spending nearly $2,000 on essential home appliances, customers expect clear communication, basic accountability, and professional service—not having heavy appliances dumped on a patio for the customer to deal with. Now, after forcing me to spend extra cash out-of-pocket to fix their delivery failure, Lowe's is holding my compensation hostage by forcing me to spend it back in their store.
Why would I ever want to shop there again?
