  This Lowe’s location is unfortunately not what it used to be. I have been a loyal Lowe’s customer for years and have purchased thousands of dollars in merchandise for both my home and business from the Coral Springs store, including commercial refrigerators, flooring, kitchen cabinets, bathroom materials, construction supplies, and much more. I also have a Lowe’s commercial account. My recent experience involving a generator, however, has made me reconsider doing business with Lowe’s. I originally saw the generator online, but I specifically went to the store to order it because I wanted to confirm that I could return it to the store if I experienced a problem. I was told that I could. I also purchased a three-year extended protection plan. After only a few uses, the generator developed an oil leak. I brought it back to the store and was initially told by Customer Service that it could not be returned. I escalated the issue with a supervisor and was then told that I had up to a year to bring it back. When I returned again, I was told they could not accept it because of the return policy. On another visit, a supervisor told me they would accept it if I completely emptied the gas tank. I went home and emptied it that same evening, only to return to the store and once again be told that they would not take it back. After all of this back and forth, I spoke by phone with the store manager, Judith Masters. I explained the entire situation and how frustrating it was to receive different information from different employees and supervisors. She asked me to email her the generator information, which I did, but I never received a response. I eventually returned to the store and spoke with her personally. Unfortunately, the matter was still not resolved. I open a claim through my commercial Lowe's account and still pending. What bothers me most is not simply that Lowe’s refused the return. It is that I received conflicting information multiple times. I made the purchase in the store specifically because I asked about the return policy BEFORE buying the generator. Later, I was told I had a year to return it. Then I was told they would accept it once the fuel was removed. I followed those instructions and was still refused. I paid approximately $1,100 for this generator, purchased an extended protection plan, and had been a long-standing commercial customer. At the very least, I expected management to seriously address the conflicting information I had been given and make a reasonable effort to resolve the situation. I was ultimately told that certain products, including generators, are subject to a very short return period, regardless you have a LBA account. Customers purchasing expensive equipment should be extremely careful and verify the specific return-policy exceptions in writing before making the purchase, even if an employee tells you that the item can be returned. Customer service throughout this experience was disappointing, and finding knowledgeable assistance in other departments, including lumber and specialized products, has also become increasingly difficult. After spending thousands of dollars with Lowe’s over the years and consistently choosing this store for my home and business purchases, this experience was enough for me to decide to close my commercial account and take my future business elsewhere. I hope Lowe’s improves both its communication of return policies and the consistency of the information provided by employees and management. A customer should not have to make repeated trips to the store because different employees and supervisors provide different answers.

  Purchased vertical blinds and unit from lows website, was told i could bring in verticals to have cut or cut them myself( yea… no). This is the second time I've come in to have them cut nicely, first time they said noones here to cut them. Today they're saying they “ cant cut them” Im am so annoyed that they’re selling verticals that they refuse to cut. Stay away, they'll only make a fool out of you too.

  Staff is not knowledgeable. Ask a question and it takes 3 -4 different employees to answer a question. Currently sitting and waiting for a manager to assist me with a matter. Waiting 10 minutes and still no one shows up. Staff stands around the store looking and acting clueless. Home Depot is much much better

  I visited Lowe's to have some keys copied, and from the moment I walked in, the experience was excellent. The staff greeted me warmly and immediately explained that I had two options: I could use the self-service kiosk or have someone assist me. I chose to get assistance, and an associate helped me right away. This was a refreshing contrast to my experience at Home Depot just before. There, I had to figure everything out on my own. No one offered assistance, so I ended up leaving and coming to Lowe's instead.

  This is my second review because the first one did not get posted. I purchased a GE cooktop online and it was shipped from the Coral Springs store. I waited a week for the delivery and it was delivered used. Which means they never inspected the merchandise before leaving the store. I called the store so they could pick up the cooktop and bring me a new one the same day as the pick up. Kourtney told me that it couldn’t be done. I had to set up a pick up and once the refund was issued I need to purchase a new one. I explained to her to give me the refund and I would purchase from a place that could do next day delivery. Which I did purchase one from Home Depot without no problems and next day delivery. Today I week later I received a refund with less money. I called the store and spoke with Roseann which without researching anything wanted to send me to a different store. When I explained to her that I called the right store because is on the refund receipt. She got very rude and didn’t let me speak, zero customer service. She was the offended one. She placed me on hold without letting me speak and put someone else on the phone that also had zero patience towards the me. She explained to me that the reason my refund was less is because the keep the 5 year protection plan until I purchase a new cooktop. You can’t decide for me what I want to do with my money without calling and asking me when I clearly explained to the original lady I couldn’t wait another week or more without cooking. Horrible experience from beginning to end and the customer service made it even worst. I hope if a manager reads this review he can listen to this call and use it as an example of how not to treat customers.
