- GUGoogle UserMay 8, 20264.0This location took over the Joann’s located on Causeway. They are closed Sundays so just be aware. It’s a huge and big location and everything is neat and clean. There is plenty of party planning and decor that you can find. Toys are limited compared to the other stores. Other than that, it’s cool to have a hobby lobby nearby.

We’ve lived here for 15 years and up till now have had to drive to Lakeland, or more recent years to the Wesley Chapel/Lutz area or down to Bradenton. So, having a hobby lobby close to home will make it super convenient. The new store took over a previously used building, and this Hobby Lobby does seem to be a little bit more compact than other stores I’ve been into. The entry area is definitely smaller than the average as well. Customer service was good - I had more than one associate ask me if I needed help locating items. The checkout area was a little understaffed, but they called for help and opened a new lane. I will definitely be returning as this is now MY Hobby Lobby! Based on this store and experience I would recommend to friends and family.
- LSLauren SchneiderApr 16, 20262.0Look, I love hobby lobby as much as any other southren woman. I went in thinking I was going to get some craft supplies and an idea of some dorm essentials. I have loved every other hobby lobby I've been in. Im sure its just new location issues, but instead I got misleading sales signs and terrible customer service trying to check out. I hope they get things sorted soon because the way things are organized right now feels very dishonest.
