I wanted to take a moment to share what a wonderful experience I had with Extra Space Storage, especially because of Dave.
Dave truly went above and beyond to help me. From the beginning, he was incredibly patient, kind, knowledgeable, and willing to answer every question I had. He took extra time to make sure I understood everything and felt comfortable with the entire process. His customer service was exceptional, and I really felt like he genuinely cared about making things as easy as possible for me.
The facility itself was extremely clean, organized, easy to navigate, and felt very safe and secure. Dave made the whole experience of getting set up and using the storage space so much easier than I expected. I really can’t say enough about how helpful he was.
I also want to recognize Lynn, who was wonderful in helping me get my key. She was very kind, patient, and accommodating and made sure I had everything I needed.
Both Dave and Lynn provided excellent customer service, but I especially wanted to recognize Dave for going above and beyond and for all the extra time and help he gave me. He truly made a difference in my experience, and I hope his outstanding service is recognized.

Do not store your valuables at extra space storage on 53rd and 34th St. The facility is infested with rats. We’ve had multiple items eaten by rats and had rat droppings on our valuables. Extra space storage at this location will do nothing to help you! District and regional managers will also do nothing to help you! If you have anything valuable that you care about, do not store it at this location!

David provided exceptional customer service from the moment I walked in. He was professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire process of renting a storage unit quick and easy. He answered all of my questions, explained everything thoroughly, and made sure I found the right unit for my needs.
The facility is extremely clean, well-maintained, and feels very secure, which gave me peace of mind about storing my belongings. It’s clear that David takes pride in providing excellent service and maintaining a high standard for the property.
I highly recommend this storage facility and encourage anyone looking for storage to ask for David.

The help I received at Extra Storage was just remarkable. Once I rented a unit, I was taken to the elevators to show me their locations. I was then taken to the second floor and shown my unit. I was given help downloading the mobile application, shown how I can open the front and “awning”entrance to the building using the application, and had a great conversation with the manager. I learned he was from the Washington, DC area, like me, and we talked Orioles baseball and Camden Yards stadium enjoyment. Honestly, it may be THE Best self storage around! You will just love Dave, who manages the building. He is the BEST! He’s very friendly, very helpful in explaining the services and how best to use them. I’ve rented units in multiple locations, and Extra Storage would be at the top of that list!
