Our owner, Rob is also the lead technician and surly becoming known in the area as an honest and caring business man.While we see some of our competitors out there on the road with lots of trucks and technicians, we still get a lot of calls from people that have contacted these larger firms and end up hiring us. At General Appliance Service, we're frugal and appreciate that customers are on a budget and a broken appliance isn't necessarily a budgeted expense. We have an extensive history of helping customers with cost effective appliance repair.

- BSBeth Smith6 days ago5.0Starting last March we had a rat problem. They had eaten through several electrical wires and the water line. It was eight years old and we were advised it would be better to just buy a new one. We got our pest service in to get rid of the rats and we thought we had gotten rid of them and they told us it was safe to install a new one. They were wrong! A month later we got another AE code and I contacted a repairer to fix the machine. That started the” dishwasher saga” that lasted three months. The repairman kept coming up with various excuses why he couldn’t finish the job. Finally he arrived and installed the part that he’d been delaying. ( a total of 30/excuses and three different visits). I did two loads of dishes and again, had another AE code. I looked for a new repairman! I called General Appliances. Moriel showed up the very next day! And quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. ( the last repairman didn’t install the part correctly). He double checked the whole machine to make sure nothing else was wrong and reinstalled it. He did a great job! While he was there he helped explain all the bells and whistles on this dishwasher which i hadn’t had the opportunity to use. I learned a lot about rats, mice, and not to be so patient with excuses and that I now have a reliable and knowledgeable company, General Appliances that I will call on for repairs.
