- KMKeenan McClellandApr 12, 20261.0I had a unit on the third floor and was called about a leak coming into my unit. Myself and the manager took a look inside my unit, but there were so many boxes that I said I'd have to come back and look later to get to the back. When I came back to check, I found many boxes of mine were drenched in water from a leak above. I was told to submit a claim and take photos of all the damages, so I did since everything was insured through CubeSmart. The insurance company got back with me and denied my claim with tons of electrical equipment, tablets and collectible books damaged. All the the manager said he could do for me was move me to a different unit. I was extremely upset about the damaged items, but had to stay because I work out of town. It has been a horrible experience. At least being compassionated for the damages through the insurance company (that they make you pay for) would have lessened the blow. I highly do not recommend this location or dealing with Cubesmarts insurance company.
