I had an outstanding experience at the Lowe's in Middletown thanks to Assistant Manager Vincent and his exceptional team. Vincent went above and beyond to help me find the materials I needed and offered valuable recommendations that made my project much easier. What impressed me most was how he seemed to know so many of the customers by name and genuinely asked about their family members. That level of personal attention and care is rare to find today and speaks volumes about his commitment to customer service. While I was waiting, DJ and James stepped in to assist me without hesitation, making sure I had everything I needed. The teamwork and communication among the staff were outstanding. Everyone was professional, friendly, and eager to help. It's clear that this store has built a culture centered around serving its customers with excellence. This is one of the best customer service experiences I've had at any home improvement store. Vincent, DJ, James, and the entire Lowe's Middletown team deserve recognition for setting such a high standard.

If I could give them 0 stars I would.
My husband and I ordered a washer and dryer from lowes and paid for the installation. The company came to deliver and install it Friday. Upon installation, the individual incorrectly turned on our water line and broke the pipe. Water was everywhere. We had to use our emergency shut off valve to shut the water off to the entire house. The company used 15 of our personal bath towels to clean up the water but still left the laundry room floor wet.
Initially, they attempted to get us to sign an invoice stating they were not responsible. After I stated I would not do that, the individual who broke the pipe became very unprofessional. The other guy tried to defuse the situation by stating he was getting fired, they would have to pay for it out of their pocket and that this wasn’t the first time they have broken something this week and already had to pay for something else. Once my husband came home and spoke to them, they did update the invoice stating that they were responsible for correcting the issue but they did not want us to contact lowes to correct it. At this point, I am not certain they would correct it on their own and feel this was a tactic to get out of correcting their mistake. We called lowes Friday night to put in a ticket and were advised it would take 72 hours to process.
My husband and I had to call an emergency plumber to come and fix the pipe so we could turn the water back on in our house for our children. The water in the second floor laundry has leaked into our living room ceiling, which will also have to be fixed. I have attached pictures of the living room ceiling.
The in store associate also told me to email someone from Corprate, which I also did Friday night and haven’t heard back from them.
We called customer care tonight and spoke to a very rude woman who stated we called customer care”multiple times” about this issue but actually only called once.
After using lowes to refinish our entire kitchen and the experience with the washer, we will not be shopping here again. We are now out money for a plumber and a contractor to fix the water damage.
