    Stopped by Lowe’s while working in the area and had a good experience overall. The store was clean, organized, and easy to navigate. They had a solid selection in lighting, hardware, and tools, and it was easy finding what I needed without wasting time walking around. Staff I interacted with were polite and helpful, and checkout was smooth. Definitely a convenient location when you’re on a busy schedule and need supplies quickly.

    From the moment I walked into the 1030 E Songsmith Dr, Bear, DE 19701 location, I was met with outstanding hospitality, professionalism, and genuine kindness from the customer service team. Tara, Ashley, Brianna, Roselynn (“Rose + Lynn” 😊), and Aidan all created such a welcoming atmosphere with their radiant personalities and incredible sense of urgency to assist customers. A very special thank you to Tara, who stepped in as the lead and handled my concern and purchase in the blink of an eye. Her efficiency, patience, and professionalism truly stood out and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Honorable mentions also go to Susan and George, who were equally wonderful and contributed to the positive energy throughout the store. It’s rare these days to encounter a team that works so well together while making customers feel genuinely valued and appreciated. This location clearly has an amazing staff, and it absolutely deserves recognition!

    I had the worst experience with patty the plant manager. After letting her know the plants were with the rest of the plants that were in sale. Patty wanted to get attitude about she knows where she put them its the customers who dont put them where they go when I literally had bought the same one the day before and had no problem when it was scanned on sale price. So what was the difference, she wanted to be heard and be loud about it. She also cut off her co-worker from talking before hearing her out what was told to her. Like regardless if a customer says this is where the plants were at and I literally had the receipt from yesterday's purchase and she says well whoever was at the customer service shouldn't have given you the price because I wasn't here! But I told her no the price came up on the customer sevice end "on sale" never did the lady change the price. So it was a horrible experience with this so called plant manager "Patty". After having a discussion back and forth her and my husband she said "I am the manager and corrected herself plant manager ill go get a manager". She came back no manager still continued to point out about the other plants are the ones on sale ok no problem but still we like a manager. So on and on I had to tell Juliet lovely lady she was trying to get the manager for us cause Patty was being rude and after letting her know you can check again she came back saying you can override but you still manager since I dont have my keycard. As her co-worker is asking how does she mark it she tells her all late dont mark it as clearance. thats why she was asking you and she didnt respond then she walked over. Well end of story got my plant from the manager for accepting it but still shouldn't have to wait about 20 mins to get a price when Patty could see my previous purchase literally last night. It was just ridiculous she was horrible but Juliet made it happen too, she was so nice and understood and saw my proof of my purchase. So it was just a mess, I hope Patty understands, you may be the plant manager as you say but check the plants where they are placed it wasn't just one it was more and where the SALE sign is.

    I was there to talk to someone about ordering cabinets and countertop. There was no one back there so I asked associate to page someone and they told me this location has no one that works in the cabinet department anymore and that I needed to go to another Lowe’s. Why isn’t there a sign or something saying that so customers don’t waste their time.

    I had been approved for credit in purchasing new appliances and wasn't able to access the approved credit line. Went into the store and was assisted by Tyler who worked in flooring at the Bear location store 3168. Tyler tried so many ways to get the transaction to work by carefully following the direction that Syncrony provided with great patience. His peer Luz also came to the rescue and then his Manager Darryl finally got the items added to the cart but still could not access the credit line. After being on hold with syncrony for over 30 mins and advised we would not be able to request from their system and would have to use a browser vs app and credit line would populate. After several days of trying and refreshing my system it eventually worked and in the delivery process. All this to say, what dedicated employees that went above and beyond without judgment to assist a customer. I truly hope since the didn't get credit for the sale that they get some form of recognition for their customer satisfaction. I am now a dedicated Lowe's customer, and Tyler, Luz & Darryl thank you for your efforts in assisting me, the customer with great service. For the record, it was the system with the issue and should be carefully revamped for user friendliness so customers have a more satisfactory experience.
