- MDMegan DupuisAug 11, 20261.0First, let me start by saying that these people are extremely nice to work with and I will not use them again. I was very up front about being a first time pool owner which was to my detriment. I truly feel taken advantage of. I had them open my pool this year. I have a 25'x45' in ground pool. They quoted me to remove the tarp cover from the pool and then charged me an additional $100 for folding it. I had requested they clean the pool and teach me how to operate it. They wanted to save the teaching sessions until after the pool was clean. I didn't know any better. After 2 cleaning sessions totaling $340, my pool was still green and contained roughly 60lbs of leaves. They said that they couldn't get all the leaves in 2 passes because they couldn't see them. Additionally, my filter kept not working. They told me over the phone how to take it apart myself and clean it. When I took it apart, it had no DE in it. (This is after the first cleaning visit). After 3 weeks, $1,000 +, and being the proud owner of a swamp, I took to reddit, ordered a water testing kit, and cleaned my own pool. Sadly, the water testing kit did not show any stabilizer or any other type of balancing. I took a water sample to another pool store to corroborate. After 1 week of cleaning my own pool, it was swimmable. I disputed my bill because I did not have these people on my property for an hour each visit. I spoke with them when they were here. I work from home. They charged my credit card anyways. Maybe I'm just an unlucky first time pool owner, but I would not recommend or do business with these people.
