Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling.
Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they
are deep in the middle of this.
Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc.
As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction.
-An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period.
Timeline:
-Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty.
-Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install.
-An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed".
-Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one.
-So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty.
-$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile.
-I will not go into other damage issues here.

LAMBERT IS ABSOLUTELY CHARMING AND VERY VERY VERY HELPFUL.
and there was also another young associate who was very helpful in the drilling bit area.. he walked a customer over to another area but walked right back to help me even though I didn't ask for help but he realized I looked overwhelmed.
but Lambert was exceptional! after walking around the wood panel / counter top isles, I finally knew what I needed. kept.walking around to find a cart and none were to.be found even outside by the doors.. I headed back to the countertop area and lambert greeted me for a far with his high energy and beautiful smile..he knew exactly I needed help. he proceeded to lift the counter top.piece for me, walk with me to the cash register and walk me to my car. very very few people have the same work ethics and generally nice to others. I am so happy I had this interaction with Lambert, I wish him the absolute best in his career and I really hope he is being compensated enough for his skill.

Avoid this store (Norwalk CT) at ALL cost! Incompetent and zero integrity best describes the store management. 7 days, 20+ calls, in person store visits and still no response on delivery issues.. "The order has been resolved and is on its way" : 5 days ago. Lies! " You have to resolve this directly with the shipper we outsourced delivery to" : They don't understand the basics of sellers responsibility and customer satisfaction.
