We originally called the corporate number at Blinds To Go to schedule an in home consultation with a salesperson. That did NOT go well and we almost didn't use them. We decided to check out a different store where we were lucky enough to get Alex to help us. The process of picking out window treatments can be quite exhausting, but he made it so easy. He was extremely knowledgeable about the long list of products they offer. Most importantly, he was very open and honest about the limitations and drawbacks of the different types of window treatments. We went with the motorized blinds which came out great. The entire team there stepped up and answered all our questions and concerns when he wasn't there. It was a rough start, but this Norwalk store really should be proud of the work they do.

We are are so pleased we decided to go with Blinds To Go in Norwalk. Lystra was,absolutely phenomenal. She was a pleasure to work with also kept us on budget. We,will be returning to do upstairs soon.

I had a wonderful experience with this store! They were incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to get my blind repaired in a timely manner. The manager was especially great to work with—friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process. It’s refreshing to receive such excellent customer service. I truly appreciate their help and would highly recommend this store!

Dennis really went out of his way to expedite the repair of our motorized shade which was I was so happy to learn was covered under warranty. I can’t tell you how much we appreciated it! Valerie along with Mitch was also incredibly helpful throughout the process. Everyone we dealt with was professional, responsive, and accommodating. They were able to get everything fixed and up and running again within just a few days. We really appreciated the excellent service and would highly recommend the Norwalk team!

The salesperson greeted us as we came in very friendly and inviting. She showed us different blinds that he may be interested in and made certain recommendations. After that everything went downhill. As I gave her my information, demographics etc. She proceeded to write down wrong numbers and wrong address even as I was telling her. I made no mention of it at the time as she was very apologetic. As I was waiting for a measuring and delivery date, I received a call from her saying that the charge was going to be at least $200 more than what we paid which I thought was pretty high to begin with. I did get very upset with this as this was blindsided me and I was never informed of a travel charge for the measurer and a charge to remove my existing blinds. I specifically asked the salesperson in the store if my blinds would be removed and discarded whereupon she assured me that that definitely would happen. At that time there was no mention of any extra money for the measurer to come out to my house. The point was not that there was a charge for that the point was that I was never told that at the time of purchase. I was ready to cancel my order when the manager of the store came on the phone and made some concessions of which I was willing to go by as she was trying to rectify the situation and was also very apologetic. The two best experiences I had with Blinds to Go was with the man who measured my windows and then the man that came and installed my blinds. It's ironic that neither of those two worked at the store and they were the best to deal with and offered the best customer service. I cannot recommend this store to anyone else. Perhaps other branches would be different but the one in Norwalk was just not a good shopping experience. I am not difficult to deal with I was in retail myself for many years and I know what that entails. This was just poor communication, incompetence, and lack of knowledge for what was involved in a basic blinds sale. I do love the blinds and happy that they look so nice on my windows.
