Terrible customer service. Every time I call there I either get rudely hung up on or put on hold for 10 minutes and then get hung up on or get put on hold and nobody ever picks up. I constantly get redirected to different people when I'm trying to solve a simple issue and nothing ever gets done.

I’ve had a very poor customer service expedience with the Lowe’s in Newington, CT. I’ve emailed Lowe’s customer service twice about this issue with no answer, so now I’m coming here.
I called the store multiple times on Thursday afternoon (7/30) to discuss cancelling an order that was in a locker. The virtual assistant could not help me so I had to ask the bot to speak to an associate. Both times, the phone rang but I wasn’t spoken to by anyone. One of the times, the phone was picked up but no one ever answered and I was just left on the line hearing store employees talk to each other.
The morning of 8/1, I woke up to a phone call at 6:10AM on a Saturday. I am totally upset that a store would call that early on a Saturday morning. They left a message saying I had a store credit for the purchase that I need to go to the store to pick up. I thought someone was calling about an emergency! I’m so deeply disappointed in this store and Lowe’s customer service in general.

I went into Lowe's to purchase a wire rack, but needed it cut in half. I asked a women at the self checkout if Lowe's provided this service and was sent over to lumber to inquire further. I went over to lumber where I politely asked if there was a way they could cut the rack. One of the gentlemen appeared inconvenienced by my request and said there is a wire cutter in the aisle where I got the rack. So I walked back over to the aisle and found a hydrologic wire cutter that was not user friendly and did not appear to be a piece of equipment that the public should be using to cut anything themselves. I walked back over to lumber to ask if anyone could help me and a different employee looked at me and said, "to push a button?". He then overhead for an associate to help in the aisle I was in, which an associate never showed. I found manual cutters off to the side of the hydrologic cutter, so I cut the rack myself and left.
