I look all around and was sad because none were on sale. Then I saw a sign that said 40% off of vines and something else. Oh..... I'll get some hanging vines for my pots. I pick up a lot of others that I assumed were not on sale but not sure. I go to the register and I tell the cashier that I'm not sure which ones are on sale. She said none are. I pointed to the vines and said that these are 40% off. She said they were last week but not now. I told her okay, but there is a sign up. She told me there isn't a sale sign up. I told her there was. She said there isn't. I said okay but there is. I'm only telling you so that you don't have to have this conversation with someone else. She called a manager over. The manager said the signs were taken down and they aren't on sale. I said okay. But the sign is up. She sent an associate to look and see. A minute or so later the associate comes stomping back by the register. She doesn't even look at us. I told the cashier that the sign must have been up because the associate is now holding it in her hands. The manager came up and told her (in a snotty attitude) to honor the sale price. Now here's the deal, I was going to pay full price until they kept arguing with me and then getting angry because the sign was there. Nope after all that I will take the 40% off. The cashier was awesome in the end. The manager and other associate not so much.
