    My wife and I were redecorating our guest room and found a really nice wooden dresser here. The craftsmanship looked much better in person than in the photos online. Staff members were friendly in a natural way, not the fake overly cheerful type you see in some stores.

    Had a great experience with Gary today! He took the time to explain everything, showed us how our new bed could help relieve back pain, and really helped build value in our purchase. My husband is a salesman and he appreciated Gary’s attention to detail and had a true “servants heart”. Thank you so much Gary!

    I bought this comforter set from American Furniture and I was extremely disappointed. The material feels very cheap and rough — honestly, it was like laying on a mattress made of rough paper. It’s not soft at all and it’s very uncomfortable to sleep on. What made it even worse is the return policy. I purchased it 5 days ago, but they told me I only had 42 hours to return it, which is completely unreasonable. I do not recommend this comforter set. Poor quality and a very unfair return window.

    We found a display model we really liked that was being sold as display model only. We were assured by staff it included all necessary part to use it fully. When I went to pick it up, I specifically asked for it to be broken down to fit in our vehicle. When I was notified to pull into bay item was still fully standing and not dissembled after I clearly stated it twice, that was the beginning of this bad experience. Once they were about to disassemble I asked about the parts that were included. I Even showed them on their floor room display ticket that those items were supposed to come with it as it was printed on there. From there, the situation turned frustrating staff, including a supervisor (appeared to be), challenged what we were told about the parts instead of providing clear answers. It became a back-and-forth blame game with no real resolution or communication. Truly frustrating. No customer service whatsoever. I thought as if I was one of the employees caught in the crossfire of this blaming game instead of their being a resolution. To make matters worse, we were brought back to the salesperson in a way that felt like fault was placing all blame on him. The interaction ended awkwardly, with no ownership or follow-through from ANYONE. We ultimately returned the item without taking it. Disappointing experience overall lack of communication, accountability, and customer service. So in conclusion, we left with frustration confusion, and still no clear answer as to if the parts were located somewhere in the store.

    Had a desk delivered and the technicians putting together did not put all the pieces on it. The desk wobbled. They hid the missing parts under my bed. The screws were stripped. I called American furniture and they sent a technician out a few days later to see if they can fix it. The technician was here for 20 minutes and made the call to get me a new desk delivered. He did not attempt to take the desk apart and put it together again. The company then sent me confirmation that they were exchanging the broken desk for a new one. A few days later the delivery people came back and at first tried to act like they were technicians inspecting. The desk to see if I actually needed a new one. I had to tell them the appointment was for an exchange pre my receipts. They brought the new desk up but instead tried to fix my old desk in a makeshift way and told me “there it works you don’t need a new desk.” Mind you, the missing parts are still not put on and the screws are still stripped. I asked the if they were refusing to deliver a new desk and they again stated “your desk works “ and refused. And then walked out with the new desk and refused the delivery leaving me with a broken desk “that works” according to them. The makeshift fix they appplied isn’t even correct. If I were to take this desk apart to move I would not be able to put it back together. Both of the delivery people (a white and black guy) were some of the most incompetent and rude criminals I’ve ever encountered in all my years of having definitive delivered. They both refused to give me their names. I had to call the store and actually ask if these guys worked for them and whether I should call the authorities or not. I still don’t know. But they portrayed themselves as American furniture employees but who even knows. I will be seeking all available remedies if this does not get resolved. Hoping the company can fix this but regardless this is some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Who knows if these delivery folks were just rouge or if this is an overall company strategy to swindle documented returns and exchanges due to company error. Update - Melissa who I spoke with in customer service told me she was rescheduling deliver for me on this coming Tuesday. I never received a text or email confirmation like Melissa promised. I call customer service back and they act like Melissa never told me this yet they can see notes from Melissa in the system. I still have no confirmed delivery of an almost 600 dollar unbroken product I purchased from this company. Be careful.
