DO NOT USE if you run a short term rental. This company said they could enter the property without an adult present, and then changed their tune after we had signed up. They did not disclose that they lock you into a 24 month agreement and charge a $200 early cancelation fee. They were not able to treat the property during the turnover window.

Cooper was very thorough and removed not one, but three hornets' nests today. Also many less spiders in the basement since they started servicing the house 6 yrs ago. Pricey, but they give me peace of mind.

Worst service I’ve received from any company in a long time.
Door to door salesman made big promises to justify the higher than standard prices but I was ok with a premium price for a premium service… but they went beyond not delivering.
I got one service, the guy showed up acting weird, sprayed half of one level inside my home before deciding to do outside first instead. I look around 30 min later as I don’t see or hear anything and the guy is gone, left my front door wide open, his van is gone and then I get a text later that evening from him saying his sprayer was having troubles and a bit about how hard it was for him to get home… (weird). I figured he would be back in a day or two to finish but never heard back.
Got charged the next months $120 still having seen no one and log onto their portal to check my account and upcoming appointments… nothing scheduled. So they did a half (not even) job charged like $200+ for it then charged me again before even having my next service on the schedule. TERRIBLE WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS.
I called to cancel and was given a wild run around, finally escalating it up a few people to be told the manager is going into a meeting and will call me back in an hour.. two hours later no call, I call back and have to fight my way up the ladder again, I tell them exactly what they told me last time and the person on the other end has the GALL to use the same obviously scripted line to try and get you off the phone that “well actually the manager is going into a meeting and will call you back in an hour”….. LIKE I DIDN’T JUST EXPLAIN TO THEM THE LAST PERSON PULLED THAT ONE. Told them that was unacceptable and had to argue with them for another 5-10 minutes before they finally agreed to cancel my contract without the $200 cancelation fee and to refund the $120 for the current months service I had been charged without even being on the schedule. It has now been around 3 weeks and I have not received that refund. THIS COMPANY IS EITHER A JOKE OR A SCAM AND I CAN NOT RECOMMEND AGAINST THEM MORE STRONGLY.

Zane cold called our house in south Boulder in early June selling Aptive Pest Control Services. His sales pitch is good and we ended up signing with Aptive for one year. We wanted to give him a chance. To our dismay, the servicemen arrived and failed to treat for wasps, which was our primary issue, and installed an ugly flying insect trap in an inappropriate, highly visible location. When we called Zane to request follow up, he pushed us onto someone else. We signed with him because he presented himself as the person who could solve our problems with household pests; but that's not who he is. He's just a salesman. We went out on a limb to give him a chance and he failed to take ownership. He will not make sure you get good service nor that your problems are resolved. Once he's gotten you to sign he will not provide service. I would NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH ZANE again, and we will definitely not be renewing.

Is Aptive pest control safe?
Aptive’s goal is to provide customers with professional and effective pest control solutions that reduce the harmful effects of pests. Aptive otherwise does not treat any wood-destroying organisms such as termites, carpenter bees, or carpenter ants. Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
