I used to love this place. Staff used to be always friendly and helpful. Loved they supported hiring veterans. Now, 6 self check outs. But once you a start checking your stuff out, (which is so awesome when you have lumber and screws) someone asks if you need help. While standing over your shoulder the entire time you check out. Hey how about you either put check out lanes back in, or leave me alone. If I do it wrong, I am not getting paid to be accurate. The online order pick up is a joke. Check in either on line, or their little kiosk hidden in a hallway. Your name pops up on the screen. No one comes out for 30 minutes to even acknowledge you existence. Go ask customer service,they say " we will find someone to help you" while they stand around talking to each other making jokes and looking at their phones. This place is a joke. Time.to cancel both my personal and commercial accounts. At least their competitor still has check out lanes.

I came in early May and was looking for a small hand saw, I spoke to the gentlemen that was working that area and the one that I wanted wasn't available, I than ask for another option and he recommended one that was a little bit more money but I was ok with it. I ask him if it needed a battery or if it came with it and he chuckled and said that it didn't need a battery it came with one. So I purchased it. A few days later I ended up getting pneumonia and was down for 2 1/2 weeks. When I went to go use it I notice that there was no battery and I looked up the battery cost and it is way more than the saw. So Saturday I took it in to return, never was opened with receipt, they guy said, it is past the 48 hour return policy!! are you kidding me that a saw has 48 hour return policy, he said he couldn't even give me store credit, so I have a $100+ saw that I can't return or use. I am disappoint that I at least could not receive store credit. I just won't go back to LOWE's.
