Has merchandise blocking the sidewalks and a loading zone in front of the entrance so if vehicles are loading anyone in a wheelchair cannot enter the store. I explained this problem to several managers over a period of 6 months and was told it would be taken care of each time. There is still merchandise blocking the walkways. They placate customers, but they don't solve problems, they give them lip service.

Their credit cards are a scam, they will take payments on time but wait 3-5 days to process your payment even though you paid on time. Then they will charge you a late fee because THEY did not process your payment until AFTER the due date forcing a late fee on you when you pay on time. Don’t get scammed and don’t sign up for any form of payment plan or credit card here.
So in order to avoid their scam fee you have to pay over a week early in order to pay on time? SCAM

Buyer beware: Lowe's Home Improvement Grand Junction quoted me $924 for a replacement entry door, $786.55 for installation, and an additional $230 for an "Independent Contractor Permit."
When I questioned the permit fee, both Lowe's and Premier Services Group initially told me it was a building permit fee. At one point, I was even told it was a "City permit fee," which immediately raised red flags because the City of Grand Junction does not issue building permits. Mesa County does.
After multiple emails, phone calls, and a week of trying to get a straight answer, I checked with the Mesa County Building Department. Their fee schedule for this project's permit would be approximately $50-$60, not $230.
During my final call with the Premier Services Group, they blamed their quote generation process and Lowe's for the inflated permit amount and explained that the permit fee shown on the quote is merely an estimate. I was told that any difference between the estimated and actual permit costs would be refunded after the job is completed.
The problem? Nobody mentioned that before. Not on the quote. Not in the emails. Not during multiple conversations with Lowe's or Premiere Services Group. The first time anyone mentioned a refund was after I had already spent a week trying to find out why a $60 permit was being quoted at $230.
It's possible the charge was deliberately labeled an "Independent Contractor Permit" rather than a building permit to disguise what amounts to a 31% markup on the installation cost. If so, that's about as misleading as it gets.
This experience also uncovered how Lowe's installation process operates. Lowe's sells the product in Grand Junction, while Premier Services Group, in Oregon, manages the installation. A local installer is contacted to take measurements. Premier Services Group prepares the estimate, which Lowe's then presents on their letterhead.
Now, to the prices. Lowe's installation quote was $1,016.55. For the exact same door replacement, established local installers quoted approximately $600. That's nearly 70% higher than local competitors.
My main takeaway is that, despite Lowe's being convenient and a well-known national brand, you shouldn't assume you're getting a competitive or transparent price. I initially believed that the Lowe's name would offer confidence and oversight. However, I ended up encountering inflated charges, unclear explanations, and a permit fee that no one could properly clarify until I began researching it myself.
Shop around. Get quotes from reputable local installers. And that does not include Lowe’s. You'll likely save a lot of money and avoid unnecessary frustration.
