I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Lowe’s. I have visited this store twice just to purchase a wooden board and have it cut to size, and both times I left without getting what I needed.
Apparently, there is only one employee available to operate the wood-cutting machine, and every time I visit, that person is on break. No one else seems to be able to help or offer an alternative solution.
It is ridiculous that a large home improvement store cannot provide such a basic service because one employee is unavailable. Customers should not have to make multiple trips for something this simple.
Two visits, wasted time, and still no service. Very frustrating and disappointing!

I came in today to buy a washing machine and maybe get Lowes rewards credit card around 3pm. There were five employees in the appliance area. One was working very diligently with a customer. Two other employees were chatting with each other and watched the employee who was working. The final two employees were sitting at a table chatting. I looked at washing machines for ten minutes and then spent two minutes looking up other locations in the valley that sell appliances. No one approached me till I walked up and informed them I was going elsewhere with my money.

I purchased a new LG gas range from Lowe’s. 10 days after installation, our carbon monoxide detectors went off, and the Fire Department responded in full SCBA gear due to dangerous CO levels. Xcel Energy red-tagged the unit, explicitly stating the range was not jetted properly, creating massive cooktop flames and leaking hazardous CO into our home.
When I called Lowe’s, I was told that because I did not use a Lowe’s credit card and it had been past 48 hours since delivery, they would not assist us or take responsibility for selling a severe fire and life-safety hazard. Refusing to help a family left without a way to cook due to a life-threatening defect is completely unacceptable.
Trying to get help from Lowe’s was a nightmare. Calls went unanswered repeatedly, and when staff finally picked up, they were annoyed, rude, and showed zero sympathy for our family being left without a way to cook. They repeatedly brushed off a severe life-safety issue, claiming that because we didn't use a Lowe's credit card and it was past 48 hours, they couldn't help and just kept telling us to call LG. Selling a hazardous defect and offering hostile customer service is completely unacceptable.
