I typically shop at Home Depot, but I was in Glenwood today. I’m hoping the manager of the store will read this to all of the employees. Absolutely abysmal customer service. I walked past not one, but two groups of three employees talking with each other and not a single one of them asked if they could be of assistance when I was clearly looking for something. In more than one place, I encountered blocked aisles. Of particular note, indicating total lack of awareness, there was a pallet of plywood going horizontally across the aisle in the sheet good section blocking anyone with a lumber cart from passing through. After checking out, I decided to return something, and when I went back into the store, I encountered someone named Darrin whose badge said “head cashier.” During the transaction, I asked him how his day was going, and he ignored my question completely. When he had to type in a number from my receipt to the register, I offered to read it to him and again was completely ignored. The overall vibe in the store indicates a lack of pride and engagement and concern for customers. Virtually every employee I encountered gave off the vibe that they were being held hostage. Plain ugly.

i returned to Lowe’s on July 4.
The parking lot was full of water and the water was still leaking like it was before maybe worse. I went to the service desk and asked to speak to a manager about the hose. This was about to be the third time i had done this and no change. Mind you our towns and counties are all on water restrictions. They call the manager and say she’s outside. She’ll be right in. The manager was in the parking lot with other employees where the water is running out right in front of them! I was livid. I told her about it and how pathetic they are that they haven’t changed it yet. She asked me to leave the premises lol. I have spent almost a thousand dollars at Lowe’s this week and asked nicely two other times to fix their hose.
Pathetic! They deserved much worse of a scene than i made. As i was leaving she said they were changing the hose. This has been happening for DAYS. They all need to look into our water shortage. It’s insane. They have also been reported to the county, and if they violate again will be fined.
In the garden center, the hose is leaking probably 2 gallons per minute & i was told they didn’t want to spend the money to get a new hose. AT LOWES!!! Unbelievable.

Its been over 30 minutes, 2 calls for assistance and several staff members walking by and I still dont have anyone to grab 1 item off of the top shelf. Its not like a customer can climb the stairs right in front of the items I need. I still dont have the item after 30 minutes and as a Dasher as well I cant burn that much time to wait for someone to mosey over. This is not okay, aisle 10 cant be that hard for people who work here to find.

Had an appointment with Lenaya Wittenberg to call at 8:30, it's now 11:30 and she never called. Tried calling and no one answers the phone, been ringing for over 10 minutes solid and had to call back because someone took the phone off the hook to where it was connected but no longer ringing. Go in person repeatedly and no one is ever in the kitchens dept. How does anyone ever order a countertop from this place? It's pretty bad when an associate from the appliances dept recommends to get a countertop from Accents on Top in New Castle instead, because Lowe's can't get any employees to show up for work. I called back a 2nd time and have so far spent 30 minutes trying to talk to anyone, they took the phone off the hook yet again.
