She and I spoke a few months ago and today when I called with a question, she not only remembered me, but she also took the time to ask how things were going with my newborn baby. She shared a few updates with me as well that I needed to know, and I couldn't be more grateful. Extra Space, you have a gem with Yvette- thank you!
- SMsamantha martinApr 28, 20261.0Beware. This place appears clean but appearances lie. The entire 4 floor has a clothing moth infestation which management will not do anything about. They supposedly have regular pest control visits but told me the pest control company hadn’t found moths (are they blind?). So I had to show them. They said even if exterminator came in and sprayed the moths would come back, so they wouldn’t do it. The lack of action in response to an insect problem is absurd. They offered to move me to a different floor. Guess what? Moths there too. Thanks god my items are sealed and packed in plastic. The manager then told me he called the other locations to see whether they had a problem and whether I could move there, and was told by those managers they ALSO have moths. (What exactly are their supposed regular exterminator visits doing if this is the case???) The final result was telling me if I cared that much about not having moth damage I should move elsewhere. Is it asking so much to store items someplace they won’t be damaged by insects? Or expecting the facility to swiftly deal with a problem when it occurs? I don’t think so. But extra space storage apparently thinks it’s no big deal to let the problem continue. There was a lot of talk about consulting the exterminator and sending messages to management, but zero action. Completely frustrating and a massive amount of time wasted moving, checking all my things and dealing with this crappy situation.
