Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling.
Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they
are deep in the middle of this.
Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc.
As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction.
-An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period.
Timeline:
-Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty.
-Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install.
-An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed".
-Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one.
-So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty.
-$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile.
-I will not go into other damage issues here.

Fantastic customer service! We are currently redoing our whole bathroom (stressful) and the team at Lowe’s was nothing but patient, understanding, supportive, knowledgeable, and kind. Uriah got us everything we needed to tackle the shower plumbing, Dale had great advice about the shower pan, and Angel was incredibly helpful getting the right wood for the subfloor.

Lowe’s policies are not customer centric. I purchased a 2’ x 4’ plywood sheet. I needed it cut down to 27” in length and they refused to do it. They can only cut it in half “No project cuts”. 1-2 cuts of the customers choice should be allowed.
I guess if I wanted a 2’ x 2’ sheet of plywood I would just buy that. Not everyone has a table saw.
I will be shopping at Home Depot where they allow 3 cuts per customer

Went to Lowe's to pick out some carpet for installation. Dylan was more than helpful helping me with my choices. Needless to say the carpet I picked didn't have enough stock on the existing roll and it would be a couple days for replenishment. Another associate, Betty informed me the next day the carpet would be on the a delivery truck which was delivered the same day I talked to her. Kudos to both of these associates for making things go smooth and easy for me. The installers (Kluge Brothers flooring) did a very professional job and also helped me move some furnature back into place. I was fortunate enough to get some great customer service. Been doing different projects and will be using lowes as a primary supplier for my tasks.
