AJ was our salesman and he was incredible. We were shopping for my mom, who is moving from her house of 25 yrs to a 55+ community, not an easy transition. AJ assisted us in every aspect of our shopping experience.
He’s a great communicator and followed through every time I had questions and needed further assistance. My mom’s furniture was delivered on time and looks amazing.

A wide range of furniture and styles definitely something for everyone. Prices were good and we are happy with the quality of what we purchased. Salesperson was very helpful and delivery personnel were great. Overall I would recommend visiting American furniture warehouse next time you are looking for new furniture.

I see all these great reviews but we thought the place was a used car lot. We got "attacked" while we were there. OMG, couldn't shake the sales people (so we went somewhere else and bought a living room set there)

I ordered a loveseat that I was told would take around 1 week to deliver. It took 31 days.
As you see from the ss. AFW seems to have a poor inventory team that keeps track of things you may have bought up front in full. I spoke to my salesperson’s manager about the situation.
All she did was avoided any kind of accountability for the situation. She instead normalized all of this like this was okay to have a customer wait an entire month to get a loveseat that should have been delivered weeks prior, plus the fact that my party paid in full (delivery and everything) up front.
I mentioned party, I did not buy this furniture. People from out of state purchased it for me.
That manager I tried filing a complaint did offer compensation of $100 in store credit, but only to the buyers, not the person like me who has a bare living room for a whole month because of AFW. I kept insisting to her that there easily can be a way for her to transfer the $100 from their account to mine. But she had a power trip about it saying how that’s illegal or not possible.. are you serious lady?
I had enough of this woman. Instead, me and the buyers with AJ made it work where I got the credit of $100 working through their account where all I had to do was call them in front of the salespeople In Their Store to get the credit to work. I got a painting as compensation for all of this nonsense.
I did exactly what the AFW manager told me I couldn’t do 😂 that manager should be At least demoted for her customer service abilities. I know that if it was the store manager or other managers they would have done a better job handling this situation.
To keep tabs, we came to the store July 27 and ordered 3 furniture pieces. 2 were in the store and delivered asap.
The third piece was said to be delivered no more than August 9
We waited 31 days until August 27 until the last piece was finally delivered.
In any world that’s absolutely ridiculous.
I blame AFW’s corporate inventory team and the manager who tried to ease the situation with very poor skills in being a manager. Everyone else did a good job and it’s not anyone’s else’s faults for this situation.
I’m never coming here again and you shouldn’t shop here either!

Patient and courteous delivery fellas with swift efficiency and gratitude for the gratuity we gave them for lunch later. 😉🙂❤️ But one cushion had a mark on it. We got it rectified smoothly with warranty support (a gal and I forgot her name) and she, effortlessly solved our issue. With more than 1 solution too! Sharp gal. And Andrew, my sales guy in Fort Collins, CO was a genius over the phone when I was ordering my items across the miles. Everything went great. Thanks everyone!
