  We purchased two recliners on 07/11/2025. One of them is coming apart at the stitching in the arm rest with padding creeping out. I called customer service and they said. Sorry. Only a one year warranty. We've been buying furniture at AFW for 50 years. In fact, we bought our first furniture from Jake himself. And now the company won't stand behind its product although it's only been about six weeks past warranty. What a crock. Some kind of customer loyalty. The agent basically said, tough luck, bud!!!

  We recently moved into a new home and were looking for furniture to complete our space. From the moment we arrived, Kristen made the experience wonderful. She was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and a joy to work with. Her expertise made it easy to find pieces throughout the large showroom, and she provided the perfect balance of attentive assistance and personal space.   McKenzie Ulibarri (sales associate assigned to help us when we walked in front door) was exceptionally helpful, polite, courteous and such a good listener. He stayed with us the entire time and helped us locate every item we were looking for to furnish our new home. His knowledge about bed mattresses was so helpful. We appreciated his honesty about what items would or wouldn’t go well together without being pushy. He gave us just enough space to not feel crowded but was always there to answer our questions and lead us right to the next items for each room we were looking to furnish. We are so grateful because he made the experience for us so much easier than we thought it would be. We feel it is important to share when we experience such exceptional service.

  I've only had furniture from here for most of my life and it used to be so good in quality. I recently moved and purchased a new couch and a new kitchen table set. Once we got our couch unpackaged at home we noticed one of the arms was broken. I spent weeks on and off the phone with customer service trying to have the situation fixed. They refused to exchange or repair the couch without making us pay $90 to have it removed. If we were responsible for breaking the couch I wouldn't have had an issue paying the fee, but since it came broken I shouldn't have to put another $90 towards a $700 couch. After hitting my breaking point and spending almost an hour on the phone we finally got our couch exchanged. Now 2 months later the wood on my chairs is splitting and I'm not sure how long this $500 set is going to last. I do know that I'd rather find a new table elsewhere than deal with their customer service again. Mostly concerningly, and recently, my one and a half year old managed to get a 2 inch long splinter off of his crib that we bought here 2 years ago. It got stuck in the back of his throat and he was choking on it. Thankfully I was awake and noticed before anything serious happened. But how can anyone make and sell a crib that can become a choking hazard for the small humans they're intended for? I don't know what happened to the good quality furniture they used to sell here, but it is long gone. I'm now looking for a new place to buy furniture that's better quality and doesn't have an absurd warranty policy. I recommend everyone else considers another store before shopping here.
