  I had a very disappointing experience at the Lowe’s in Brighton on Saturday night, August 15, 2026. The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional when dealing with me. I expected much better customer service, especially from a manager.

  Extremely Disappointed with Lowe’s Brighton, CO – Broken Promises, Poor Communication, and No Customer Advocacy: We ordered a John Deere zero-turn mower from the Brighton, Colorado Lowe’s on July 11 because the store guaranteed a July 20 delivery date. That guarantee was the deciding factor in our purchase. Our credit card was charged immediately, yet what followed has been one of the most frustrating retail experiences we’ve had in years. Since placing the order, the delivery date has repeatedly changed with little to no proactive communication. We are long-time Lowe’s customers and have never experienced this level of disorganization, especially after hearing so much about Lowe’s renewed commitment to customer service. After trying to get answers, we spoke with Alyssa, who informed us that the mower had been sitting in a Wyoming warehouse for several days. She acknowledged that it should have already been processed and assembled to meet the original July 20 delivery date. She assured us the unit would be secured, assembled, and delivered on July 21. While disappointing, we understood that delays can happen and chose to be patient. Then, on July 20, we received another call—this time from Stephanie—telling us the mower would not even be assembled until later in the week and might be delivered on July 23. At that point, enough was enough. I spoke with Carlos, a manager, asking for one simple thing: be an advocate for your customer. I wasn’t asking for the impossible. I simply asked that someone from the store contact John Deere directly to help expedite an order that Lowe’s had already guaranteed. Instead, I was told it was now John Deere’s responsibility and there was nothing the store could do. That’s not customer service. That’s passing the buck. I then contacted Lowe’s Corporate and spoke with Akim, who was courteous, professional, and genuinely tried to help. He attempted multiple times to reach John Deere on our behalf. Unfortunately, he was caught in the same endless cycle, with John Deere directing him back to the store. When I requested to speak with corporate management, my call was ultimately routed… right back to the Brighton store. As customers, we were left trapped in an endless loop where no one seemed willing—or empowered—to take ownership. The most disappointing part isn’t even the delay. Delays happen. It’s the complete lack of coordination, accountability, and customer advocacy. Every person had a different story. Every call resulted in another handoff. No one appeared willing to own the problem or fight for the customer after Lowe’s had already accepted payment and made a guaranteed commitment. We’re new to the Brighton area and genuinely wanted this Lowe’s to become our go-to home improvement store. Unfortunately, this experience has left us questioning whether that’s possible. If Lowe’s Corporate truly stands behind its promises of improved customer service, this is exactly the type of situation that deserves attention. You already have our information from the multiple conversations we’ve had. If you genuinely want to make this right, you know how to reach us. Until then, this review will remain as written. For anyone considering ordering equipment that requires assembly from this location, I would strongly encourage you to ask detailed questions about inventory, assembly timelines, and who is actually responsible for your order after payment is processed. Based on our experience, the guaranteed delivery date may not reflect reality. You may even want to consider taking your business elsewhere. This said, I sincerely hope Lowe’s uses this as an opportunity to improve because loyal customers deserve better.

  Joel in the Appliance Department at Lowe’s is hands down the best appliance salesperson I’ve ever worked with. As a Marine veteran, his professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail really stood out from the moment we started shopping. He made our purchase of a Samsung Bespoke AI refrigerator completely seamless and genuinely enjoyable. He took the time to understand our needs, walked us through all of our options without any pressure, and thoroughly explained the extended warranty (which I highly recommend after hearing everything it covers). What impressed me most was his personal approach. He treated us like people instead of just another sale, answered every question with confidence, and made sure we felt comfortable with our decision before we left. It was honestly one of the best appliance purchasing experiences I’ve ever had. Because of Joel, we’ll be coming back to this Lowe’s for all of our future home improvement projects. Employees like him are hard to find, and Lowe’s is lucky to have him. If you’re shopping for appliances, do yourself a favor and ask for Joel—you won’t be disappointed.
