  When I walked around this place with my dad, he made the comment that it seems to exist to provide furnishings for University of Colorado students to use for their apartments, and I think that's true, in a good way. The ambience here is cosmopolitan and a bit exotic-chic but in an accessible and friendly way. There are goods here from many countries in the world, from South America and East Asia to many European countries. Having spent some time in the United Kingdom, I found the selection of British goods available to be quite charming and nostalgic. I just think they remember buying a lot of those British shortbreads to sustain me when I went on long hikes and train rides around the country. That said, many things including the British shortbreads are at a premium because they are coming from abroad, so be prepared for that. Still, the selection is impressive, and there is a delight in just wandering through and seeing brands and items that are otherwise very uncommon or just non-existent in the United States outside of stores like this. There is a bombardment of color and velocity, and I quite liked the turtle chips that I believe are Korean and that I always saw in the h marts when I was in New York. The furnishings are cute and eclectic and have a sense of playfulness to them. There is something here for everyone, and the savvy shopper will probably find adorable and distinctive items at reasonable prices. Even for those not planning to buy anything immediately, this is still a delightful place to just wander around and feel like you are on a thrilling world tour.

  My partner and I recently got our first apartment. Moving is such a daunting process and coming to this world market has brought so much magic into our space. Maggie has been an important part. Maggie has met needs that were unspoken, always a step ahead in the customer’s experience. Authentic and personable, we haven’t experienced care like this anywhere.
