Due to employees not turning off gate codes when they knew that other renters were giving out the codes and after knowing the other renters were living in their units and finally simply not paying attention allowing my storage unit to be burglarized, they have now doubled my rent for my storage unit. They also shortened their hours so I am no longer able to access my things later in the evening when I actually have time to deal with the things I have in storage. I absolutely do not recommend not only this location on Havana but this company in general considering they have no care for their customers. The location itself is not well maintained. It takes them weeks if not months to clean up garbage other renters leave in the driving areas. The negligence of the employees at this location cost me over $30,000 in mine and my children's belongings and they have the audacity to double my rent. The only compensation provided before doubling my rent was one free new lock and $2,000 from insurance which barely equals to the amount I have paid over the years for the insurance itself. I encourage everybody to seek storage elsewhere as this location and this company clearly does not care about anything other than the money they make. Yes I am clearly aware that that is any big company. But when considering the possessions of other people that work very hard a company should have a little bit of pride in the work they do. Also as a side note to the Aurora Police department, I find it absolutely disgusting that you guys do not bother following up on these type of cases. I provided not only the name and approximate location but also photos of the person or persons that were involved in this and the employees at this storage location were aware of the person or persons involved as well.
