  They are closed, it’s a recent thing. That’s why everyone is saying they are on hold and no one answers or responds, cuz it’s an empty, closed store. 🥺There is a number on the door you can call if you need assistance I believe, but not a trace of Arvada appliance remains, not sure what happened there.

  I called on Saturday July 25th and was on hold for over 1hour and nobody ever answered I drove to their new location and they were closed Saturday July 25th I looked through the windows and they are not even close to opening Thu’s new store

  I purchased a Speed Queen washer and dryer from Arvada Appliance because I believed Speed Queen's reputation for quality and reliability made them a better choice than other brands. Unfortunately, within just a few months, I began experiencing problems with both the washer and the dryer. The issues with both appliances have been extremely disappointing, especially considering the premium price and the brand's reputation for durability. I expected dependable, trouble-free performance, but that has not been my experience. What made the situation even more frustrating was the lack of customer service from Arvada Appliance. I called three separate times seeking assistance and never received a return call. When you invest in premium appliances, you also expect responsive customer support if something goes wrong. Based on my experience, I have been disappointed with both the reliability of the Speed Queen products and the customer service I received from Arvada Appliance. I hope Speed Queen improves the quality of their products and Arvada Appliance improves their customer support after the sale.

  Once Again, The Corn Family Did Me Right!!! The other day I found myself elbow deep in a washer using a Shop Vac to suck the water out of it— because it suddenly died mid-cycle. After I threw the wet mess into a bag, I headed to the Laundromat. 

Once I took care of that heavy dripping mess…I immediately went to Arvada Appliance’s on Wadsworth. I’d been buying from Arvada Appliance since 2008 after I learned my lesson at one of the Big Box places. And, like always—at Arvada you get a seasoned appliance professional who has spent years in the business. This alone is reason to run from the well meaning but functionally illiterate aproned associate…who minutes prior to greeting you—just finished up with the corporate training video and is now an expert. I’d never met Brad, but he was a walking Wikipedia of knowledge. He asked me the key questions such as household size, average # of times we did laundry, space considerations, budget and expectations (capacity, material type, features…etc). While trudging into that Laundromat, looking like Sasquatch…bag dripping down my back, dragging the laundry essentials that I crammed into a shopping bag. I found myself sitting—uncomfortably…on the ubiquitous white plastic chair that must be part of the Laundromat 101 kit…when my expectations and value quotient for what I was going to buy began to take shape. At one in our conversation, point Brad suggested a Speed Queen. ‘Gotta admit…I’ve always been intrigued by their product. I recall hearing that some the residential buyers in the on-line community reffer to it as the Toyota 4Runner of laundry equipment. High praise! Our 2009 4 Runner has 328,000 miles on it. Brad explained the build design, philosophy and overall structure of the company and I was even more curious. Is a Speed Queen inexpensive? No…! But a 5 year comprehensive warranty from the manufacturer — and not some third party warranty coverage which the retailer gets a piece of and is stitched together by a nationwide network of independent contractors and has a call center overseas—provides zero piece of mind. I live in Evergreen…which isn’t very far—but it’s certainly not as close as other suburbs. Plus, homes up here can be funky as can be, and so installation can be a big issue.

And that’s where Arvada Appliance excels! 

My installers, David and Miles were consummate professionals. They quickly asked about any special considerations (i.e. Pets, preferred entry door and path. From the “we’re 45 minutes away” phone call to the onsite communication was fantastic. Like a quarterback/running back tandem—they have a cadence and specific vocabulary when they are moving items. They know what to expect from each other and that translates into an efficient, ding/dent free installation. I can’t tell you how many times I have cringed when the installers were not in sync with each other. Brad offered me a price on my Speed Queen I simply couldn’t refuse. David and Miles delivered a quick damage free unit—low ceilings and all. If you want patronize the big box stores do so at your own peril. I’d rather spend my money with a local business that has been through this states ups and downs and has continued to be there. Thanks!!!
