From all the negative stuff, I've heard about Hobby lobby. This hobby lobby was big and well supplied and that's really all I care about. The staff were friendly and helpful. And while I hate giving my money to people that support the orange guy, they had what I needed in the timeframe that I needed it .

Visited June 13th. This place is inside the Yuba marketplace.
It is huge inside.. D I Y paradise!
Furniture. Home goods. Art supplies
..etc. They have really expanded in the last few years with so much to offer!
I was looking for some baskets and shelving for my master bath. There was so many choices! I forgot to bring my measurements for a floor to ceiling shelf. DANG!
I will be back and purchase the right one! Fun place for ideas!

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service and product knowledge at Hobby Lobby.
I am working on a project and needed a gloss finish to go over some photos. On two separate occasions, I came into the store to purchase Mod Podge because it was recommended to me. Before buying it, I specifically asked employees in that department if it was the correct product for my project. Both times, I was assured that it would work.
Unfortunately, the product did not give me the results I needed and ended up ruining my project. Now I have to start all over again, wasting both time and money.
I also needed help finding adhesive paper. The employee I spoke with seemed unsure and directed me to what he thought might work. It turned out to be Cricut paper, which was not what I needed.
I understand that employees cannot know everything, but I expect staff working in specialty departments to have at least basic knowledge of the products they are selling or to direct customers to someone who does. The lack of product knowledge made my shopping experience frustrating and costly.
At this point, I am very disappointed and hesitant to return.
