Giving one star as I have to in order to post this but the reality is zero stars. This was my second service and it was nothing compared to my first. It was horrible and I’m a new customer. The technician could care less about taking the time at my residence and doing a proper job. All he did was spray pesticide. Never once said what he was treating for after I texted him what I expected to be treated. He waterlogged my security camera with pesticide to remove a wasp nest. There was pesticide and mud all down my garage, the security camera and pooled on my concrete driveway. He was aware I have a dog and still made this huge mess. The next day the whole area smells like pesticide and I’m not sure if I should add water to spray it down or what out of concern for my dog’s safety. I’ve filed a complaint and expect to be contacted and that technician never sent back to do service at my residence again. I am also expecting a refund for my service as the only thing that was done was spray pesticide in some areas. Nothing wiped down, nothing inspected. The technician was onsite for maybe 10 minutes total. Furious is an understatement.

Although Aptive sent me an email rescheduling my appointment , I called their office after hours to leave them a message that I wanted them to come on the day they were supposed to. I could not express myself with the AI telephone choices that I had. They did come out today 28 August. I can’t say whether it went good or bad. So far, we still have an issue with getting bit by bugs and that frustrates me because I left my old extermination company that was just fine because I could always reach a live person to discuss what was going on. Your company needs to switch over to that too.

Not sure if the Technician sprayed the property. Nothing looked sprayed. Usually, there is some residual of the spray. He clearly didn’t do the backyard , he didn’t open the gate. All previous technicians would leave a text indicating what they did and any findings. I didn’t receive any text or information as to what he did. This is why a person has to be at home when the tech arrives and present to make sure the job is done and done correctly. My first disappointment with the company service.

I had such a great experience with Aptive Environmental! Michael, the sales representative, and Rhett, the technician, were both incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly. Rhett did a fantastic job taking down all of the webs around my home and making sure everything was taken care of.
Michael also reassured me that if I wasn’t satisfied, I could reschedule for a new appointment within 3 days of the initial service, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I really appreciated their great customer service and attention to detail. Highly recommend Michael and Rhett!

Very disappointing experience with Aptive’s scheduling and customer service.
Aptive scheduled my re-service for August 12 and confirmed in writing that the service window was from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 30-minute call before arrival. I arranged my entire day around that window.
At 6:41 p.m.—after the service window had already ended—the technician texted that he would arrive in another 50–55 minutes, which meant approximately 7:30 p.m. When I questioned it, I was told that I had requested a “specific time” and that I had been placed at the end of the route because they were busy. That was inaccurate. I did not choose a specific time; Aptive provided the 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. window.
I understand that the technician may not control his assigned route, so my complaint is with Aptive’s scheduling and communication. If the company could not honor the appointment window, it should have notified me before 5:00 p.m. instead of expecting me to continue waiting into the evening.
Customers’ time should be respected. Aptive needs to improve its scheduling, communication, and accountability.

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
