honestly the whole vibe was ruined from the start because the check in person was on their phone the entire time im just standing there waiting.
the water pressure in the shower was shockingly good though like way better than i expecred which honestly made up for a little of the hassle.
price is a bit high for what it is but the place is clean and the steam room works great... staff seemed mostly helpful after they finaly looked up from thier screens.
id probably book again but i’d bring my own music next time.

This Extra Space Storage location is particularly customer-service oriented because of Sandy. She is very concerned about all customers and makes them feel valued and appreciated in the way she approaches and deals with them.
Sandy is also extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the storage business and knows how to best meet the needs of the customer. She knows how to ask the right questions and make sure each customer’s storage needs are properly taken care of.
Finally, Sandy is especially talented at communicating clearly. She listens carefully to questions, answers them directly and on point, and makes customers feel valued and appreciated.

My experience was totally unexpected.
I arrived at my unit and it wasnt empty. Two large plastic boxes with contents inside were left behind. I approached an employee and reported the finding. Informed her that my unit wasnt empty and two boxes were left behind. I informed her that i would be removing those boxes from my unit and leaving them outside in the hall. She said it was fine and she would get somebody to take away.
Heres the crazy part. This same employee called me when i had already left and was on my drive home. She accused me of lying of the boxes never being left behind in the unit. That she alledgedly checked video footage and she saw no footage of me pulling the boxes out. She harrased me and said at no times are customers allowed to leave items out in the hall. I was dumbfound. Im like, are you kidding. If theres video footage let me see it. Im 100% sure those boxes were left behind in the unit and theres footage of me pulling thrm out. She refused to show anything and kept on falsely accusing me. J requested to speak with a mgr. When i got a call from the mgr the employee had given her a completely different story. That she had only gone over their policy of leaving items out in the hall. Are you kidding me, no mention of the accusation, so call video footage. I couldn't allow this to slide and had to give the manager my full experience , lies, and ahrrasment form her employee. Totally unprofessional and unwarranted. The mgr said they would talk to the employee. She asked if i would want her to call me an apologize. I did not accept as it would be insencere. I cannot comprehend why an an employee would straight up falsify accusation. Not a great represenattion of the company and def not welcoming. This happened i. The location of N. Melrose in Vista CA
