We’ve been using Blue River Pest Control for almost a year now, and we couldn’t be happier with the service. After going through several different pest control companies over the years, we finally found one we’ll be sticking with.
Lorenzo is incredibly thorough and genuinely takes pride in his work. He spends a significant amount of time on our property during each visit, paying close attention to every detail rather than rushing through the job. That level of care really shows in the results.
Our property always looks so clean after each service. We rarely see spider webs around the exterior anymore, and we’ve had very few spiders make their way inside the house. Most recently, we had a wasp issue outside, and after reaching out, they came out within a day and took care of it quickly and professionally.
The customer service has been outstanding from day one. Everyone has been responsive, reliable, and easy to work with, and it’s clear they truly care about their customers and the quality of their work.
If you’re looking for a pest control company that’s dependable, detail-oriented, and delivers excellent results, I highly recommend Blue River Pest Control—and especially Lorenzo. We’re extremely happy with their service and look forward to continuing to work with them for years to come.

DO NOT USE APTIVE FOR PEST CONTROL
Aptive is one of the worst companies I've ever had the displeasure of having to deal with.
Not only do the pest control services ineffectively handle the problems that I needed their services for, but on top of that every time I attempted to cancel I was redirected back to their services and deceived.
I initially wanted the services for an outdoor party to handle a mosiquoto problem and find they sent out a "Technician". As a result of their services, everyone suffered extensive pain from mosquito bites as what they did ultimately ended up being completely ineffective and caused major inconveniences with all of those who attended.
Afterward, I requested a cancelation I was told that the services would go down in price and that the issues would be taken care of.
The last Technician who came in who was extremely rude and it caused me to reconsider my services with them again.
5 Technicians later and after several cancelation attempts I tried to cancel one final time and was greeted by a highly incompetent and rude agent by the name of Danny.
I politely attempted to terminate the services that Aptive was providing and yet the conversation dragged for around 40 minutes with Danny attempting to offer a way to not cancel even though I made my point very clear that I no longer wanted to continue services.
They initially stated the cancelation fee would be $119 and yet when I contacted him he said it would be $199 which was completely different from when the last time I tried to cancel the services with them. I was also told previously that my services were to be $69 and yet when I contacted Danny he stated that they've been taking $99 out of my account which is blatantly fraudulent and deceptive.
Overall my experience with Aptive Pest Control has been one filled with lies, poor services and rude customer support that is completely inconsiderate to the needs of their customers.
I would not recommend that ANYONE use there seevices as there are far cheaper alternatives even in retail stores.

Be careful of the Small print.
Unfortunately, I feel completely taken advantage of, I was told by the sales person that I would have three days to cancel my subscription which I did message him back and say I would like to cancel because I was not approved by the home owner. Fast-forward a month and I just got charged Contacted the company they made it very difficult to try and get out of my contract without charging me an additional $200 cancellation fee on top of $100 that they already charged for the service of this month that I have not received.
They then tried to suggest that I pass over my membership to a friend or a family member so that they can get a discounted rate and then I won’t have to deal with it anymore. Which was not an option that I took. Because I didn’t want to pass this problem forward. Towards the end of the conversation, the lady on the phone did say that my services were canceled, I would still receive an invoice of the 199 owed. But they would not continue to charge me going forward. And that a request was sent to refund my hundred dollars from this month for service that I did not yet receive.
I am very unhappy with how this cancellation process went. I don’t recommend Anyone get tangled up in this scheme of services.

When your associate (Chance) knocked on our door, I noticed his demeanor was very healthy and professional, not pushy or overly aggressive. Let’s just say he was in the right place at the right time, I had just spoken with my wife about this very situation. Chance explained what it was that set your company apart from the rest so at that point there was no question that I’d be signing up. We needed to change from our previous pest control company as the service has been lacking in recent months. Our technician ( Andy )showed up when promised and was great, just as Chance was. Andy gave us a full explanation of what the service and chemicals did and how they worked on the insects that bother the normal environment of a house. Andy has an awesome energy and personality that makes him a great addition to your company.
So, in closing the two guys ( Chance & Andy ) that came out today to represent your company, you should be glad that you hired them, you’re lucky to have them!!

Aptive Pest Control was very professional, kind, courteous and showed me it was important to them to acquire me as a customer and choose to try their service, whereas, when I spoke to my former Pest Control, Clark Pest Control, that was local in my area, they were very dismissive and cared less that I told them that the other company offered to give me a break on the price. They just simply said, "okay well if you need us in the future, we're here" and that was it, so maybe that's why I canceled them in the first several years back because I feel like they could care less that I had a bad experience and did nothing about it to make it right. Clark Pest Control did not make me feel like the customer is important to them.
Antoine was my tech who came out June 24th, 2026. He was also very kind courteous professional and respectful. He called or texted ahead of time and said what his guesstimated time was to arrive and he did arrive within that time frame, which was a 30 minute to 1 hour window. He worked with me on where I wanted him to start first because I have two dogs that are seniors indoors and he sprayed the areas that I wanted, but I didn't get to keep a close watch until the end when he sprayed the front room and I looked and saw that he carelessly sprayed the wall, not the baseboards and when I asked him about it, he said "well, they crawl up the walls, so it's fine", which I don't know how true that is. I'm sure they crawl everywhere, but usually they're trying to be inconspicuous and are not usually crawling up the walls unless they're coming down from the windowsill to the baseboards. I was not pleased with that because it seemed like he was not very concerned with where the spray was hitting.
He did send me pictures of the outside area showing me where he had sprayed though.
It's just barely going on one week and I already saw bugs on my patio last week and ant's as well and supposedly he sprayed the yard for fleas and ticks, the perimeter of the yard and the perimeter around my home. So we shall see, but I may have to keep an eye on him next time if he is the same one who comes out when I'm due for my next service.
The bad thing is if their product is not as effective as I had hoped, then I only had 3 days to cancel. After that, there is a fee of $199 and I would have to reimburse them for any credits that were issued for the first time service because I'm locked in for one year.

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
