  Very disappointing customer service at the Lowe’s in Vallejo. I was trying to purchase a toilet that was on sale, but the sale price was not showing up at checkout. When I asked the head cashier for help, I was told to go take a photo of the sale sign and bring it back to her. I found this unreasonable. Why should I, as the customer, have to walk around the store and take a photo of the pricing to prove the advertised sale? The store should be able to verify its own pricing and promotions. I understand that pricing or register issues can happen, but the way this was handled made a simple purchase unnecessarily frustrating. I expected better customer service, especially from a head cashier.

  I've been to Lowe's quite a bit over the past few months. Today I did my 1st pu order. They guys were nice friendly and able to answer ask my v questions. The guy who works garden center, he isn't too friendly... I'm usually there after 330p and he is always there. The garden people in FF are a good group as well. The lady who is always there in Wednesday, she is great.. always friendly, helpful and has great patience.

  Lowes.syf.com has imposed a $41 return payment fee which they will not reverse. The payment was somehow returned and Lowes.syf.com requires me to provide proof from my banks letterhead stating the mistake was my banks in order to reverse the return fee. I can't get the information from their site. I made 3 payments that day, 1 to Amazon on the Amazon site, 1 to the Solano county tax collector, and 1 to lowes. All payments were made on their respective sites from my credit union checking. Amazon and Solano county cleared. Lowe's did not for whatever reason. I can't go into Lowe's payment site and pull the routing and account info because the option isn't there. Lowe's is putting the onus of proving the mistake isn't mine. Where's their proof showing I input the wrong information? I've asked for this and got more BS. Update 9/16 All items recently purchased has been returned. The check sent from my CU on 9/2 for the statement balance didn't appear on the Lowe's credit card platform till 9/14. On 9/14, it showed it was pending as of 9/8. This check didn't show any digital trail for me to see from 9/2 thru 9/14. My CU stated on 9/11 sometimes the checks get lost in the mail. This information didn't show until 6 days after Lowe's received it in their Dallas PO box. I've had issues with their desktop site erroring at the login page. The only balance left now is their BS return fee. I also received a letter from Lowe's regarding this fee 2+weeks after they imposed the fee. In this letter, Lowe's covers pretty much everything for themselves by stating returns could happen even if the payment was made over the phone. This letter they sent me is arbitrary at best. Lowe's still responding with form letter replies to my direct questions, my questions have yet to be answered. The 800# left on the initial reply from the "owner" isn't a direct line for resolving issues. More BS. They had to transfer me to the credit dept. I didn't wait. It would seem the "owner" that replied initially to my post is just another form letter respondent or bot. The Synchrony Lowe's credit card platform message center is still giving form letter replies. I stopped using their message center. I would imagine this has happened to countless customers of Lowe's. I have since made purchases at Home depot. We will wait and see what they will do next. I will continue to update this review for all to see how Lowe's system works. I'll contest this until I can't. Lowe's doesn't have their customers interest at heart. Their posted prices on the shelves/racks aren't always updated in their checkout system either. They want their fees because this adds to their bottom line. My bank will reverse 1 fee per year for their customers as a courtesy. My bank has no return fee, only other fees. Lowe's has a return fee they impose on their customers regardless of the reason for return. Lowe's then requires the customer to prove this return wasn't a mistake made by the customer by having their bank send a statement on bank letterhead stating the return was due to a bank error. Are you frigging kidding me How can the customer pull information from your platform??? I've asked Lowe's to send me the proof the mistake was mine and Lowe's hasn't even responded to that. I only added 2 screenshots at this time, 1 of the reply to my review from the "owner" with the 800# to a bot and 1 of the Lowe's desktop site erroring out on their login page. I have screenshots of several messages from Lowe's message center. It's like a broken record. Almost the same jargon on every single reply back from Lowe's. Update 10/11/26. I accepted Lowe's card due to getting $100 off a purchase I made in the summer of 2025. Do not apply for the Lowe's card unless you're willing to accept their high interest and BS terms. Also, paying the statement balance doesn't stop the interest. Lowe's imposed interest of $36.57 on top of the $41 even after the whole statement balance was paid. They rather lose a life long customer over a BS fee. I paid it. That's the last time Lowe's makes money off me.

  Stacy and Jessica at the Pro Desk were very helpful during a return on a dryer we purchased. They explained the process and were kind and knowledgeable. I appreciated the help.
